The Cheapest alternative around my town was $160. These are holding up a half wall bar / counter top. Make sure you install them recessed into the top of the wall, and my suggestion is to use a screw and bolt to get them as tight as possible unless you can screw into a stud for structural needs. I used a construction adhesive to cover the screw holes and to help keep the counter top from moving altogether. I normally wouldn’t use adhesive, yet with these 4 sturdy, and quite easy to install pieces of steel.. mixed with adhesive .. well, the counter top isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The best bang for the buck. I build homes, rehab, and flip. These have been one of the best purchases I have spent very little on for such a badass outcome.Please excuse my photo I had weight bearing down on the counter top for adhesive to cure / dry.

I got these to help with the 12 inch overhang on the countertops that I ordered. When the granite guys came to install the countertops they were impressed by the brackets. Totally did the trick.you need to router out the top of your csbinets to install properly

The product was fine but I don't know why it took so long. One morning it was in Washington state. One hundred miles away and the next day they had shipped it to Tennesee. That took another day or two to send it back out to Oregon!

Worked as promised to help support our live edge bar top. These are just like the ones professional installers used on our glass bar top. They do suggest buying their specialty screws but we used ones we bought at our local hardware store and construction adhesive. We also dado ( trench cut) the wood so the brace would not be visible when sitting lower than the bar. That was a problem with our glass bar top and we promised ourselves it wouldn’t happen again.

This is my second purchase of these items and they don't disappoint. As a contractor, I find these products affordable and reliable. We have done dozens of kitchen remodels and when our counter top subs call for additional support, the Fastcap brand continues to prove the perfect product for the job. I recommend it for anyone looking to add rigidity and strength to an overhang. Please follow the directions of your counter top supplier and make sure the proper support is provided. These are easy to use and provide an extra layer of safety and security on large overhangs. Lastly, this product is virtually undetectable when installed, as many customers desire. I highly recommend this product.
