This is a really good quality whetstone which is excellent for sharpening my garden secateurs. It's a sturdy and made of metal - much, much better than other varieties on the market.

I hesitated getting this for awhile because it is a bit expensive for a small sharpening stone. However, after finally purchasing it, I have to say it performs even better than I expected. I used it immediately on my pruning shears, and after only a couple passes, they were extremely sharp. I then used it on a few other garden tools, and even on a few scissors, and it made a noticeable difference on all of them. Very glad I finally gave it a try.

Great quality and very handy to have for both your clippers and other tools like scissors and pocket knives. Just remember, do not press too firmly, the tool will do its job with light strokes. Pressing too firmly will remove the diamond cutting surface from any diamond file.

This is so quick, easy and does a professional jobThere’s no reason to ever have dull clippers again.I always hated to sharpen my clippers, so I tended to muddle along with dull ones. The stone sharpener took forever and the cheap diamond one didn’t do a good job.I can see why Felco has gone to theseThey’re well worth the money.

I'm not good at sharpening things but was desperate that my favorite tools were getting dull. Not sure how a simple piece of flat metal would sharpen anything but was highly recommended in a gardening magazine. Even I was able to put a nice edge on my clippers. Also removed rust on the blades. Read the instructions -- very easy to use

This is a great diamond coated sharpener with one small.problem. It is fine to carry attached to a knife sheath with your military survival knife or combat blade. It works better then a honing stone. But selling it for use in gardening tools, machetes, etc is a bit of a stretch.. When trying to sharpen a machete you need to wear a glove. A hole in the stone for a lanyard would be great as you can hang it on your belt on your knife, machete, scythe, or axe.It would be great to have this design and material on a larger hone. Several sizes of hones would be much better for garden, combat or survival use. It works fine on pocket underneath knives but you risk getting badly cut on a larger blade. The metal gloves used by processors in commercial fish factories would be a good idea.t
