Everything you could need for back lapping your personal reel mower. Any other size jug is almost overkill, they give you both 120 & 80 with a brush for the price of one normal jug. Enough paste to last you a few years.

This sharpening paste in two containers of grit size works very well in sharpening my reel style blade on my Scott's walk behind mower. The brush provided makes the job a breeze. Applied the 80 grit first then the 120 just as directed. I could instantly hear the sharpening action when each was applied. I adjusted the blade first then after sharpening I left the adjustment as is with the idea that the blades and bottom knife are a match azmith and would be best this way. Plenty if product for many sharpening in the future.

Use it on my JD 220E reel mower & works great. Good product you can hear working & washes off easily. Can buy direct for less, but I'm sure the hassles of selling on AZ create this- more of a convenience fee. Next time I may try direct.

It comes with two containers, 80 grit and 120 grit, and long application brush which is super handy and thoughtful. Products are very easy to use and boy they will sharpen those blades. Only thing I notice was, paste sticks to painted part of blades, so I had to scrub to get them off. But if I wet the blade with water, it shouldn’t stick, all I had to do was to rise it off with garden hose. I would buy it again but one container should last long time. Nice job, pinhigh!

I have a mclane 20" reel mower that was in desperate need of sharpening. I had tried to use valve grinding compound prior...don't waste your money doing that, instead buy this! It is well worth the money. After the valve grinding compound my reel would not pass the paper test which isn't a big deal to me but it should be able to cut a business card.After using the 80 grit for 5 minutes and the 120 for another 5 minutes my machine cuts the business card with ease. Be sure you rinse it off aftwards as the compound does want to stay on if not cleaned off before it gets dry. I would definitely buy again but I have enough left over for another 2-3 sharpening a. Having the brush included is a plus too...would highly recommend seller and product. I will also mention the item arrived in 3 days instead of the 2 week estimate originally provided upon ordering.

I neglected taking my California Trimmer in for service lately because I've been top dressing my lawn so much over this past year. I began noticing my mower digging into the Tifway 419 and leaving weird scalping patterns. Low and behold my reel was a mess, just plain ole dull. With some research on YT and AMZ I found PinHigh Compound. Delivery was fast, product worked as described and I couldn't be happier. The reel and knife now have a proper edge and when looked at in the right lighting, they shine! The long handled brush made it easy to apply and the paste washes off with ease. The free beer coozy was a nice touch and went into immediate use, before I could even get my mower on the bench! Thanks!

I have owned two McLane reel mowers over the last 20 years. Where I live now, I have to do my own back lapping. I have always used valve grinding compound which worked, kinda. I decided to give Pin High a try as it offers water clean up. Well, I learned that using the correct tool is very wise. Pin High sharpened much better and more evenly. Ten minutes of backlapping with the 80 grit followed by ten minutes with the 120 grit and I was cutting paper very cleanly. First mow was great. Lawn looks like a carpet again.
