I've been playing for over 30 years and I've tried about every string set out there. And so far these are the best sounding for D tuning . Bright, articulate and perfect intonation. I'm going to buy another set for my standard tuned.Even if your not a EVH fan, he still puts out some the best products on the market from amps, pedals and guitars!!! Well that's my two cents anyways!!!
