If you need to replace a tailpiece from a 60's-80's Fender Mustang, this is the one. The new models are unmarked and plain. The older ones have the Fender stamp on them. This is the real part and works just like it should. The dimensions are precise and accurate and its fairly light weight. The mounting screw holes are the same as the vintage models. There are less expensive models available but they do not look like the vintage Fender models. This one does. If you want it to look and perform like a 60's Fender Mustang tailpiece then this is the only one you should use.

I put this on my 2021 Ben Gibbard Fender mustang, for the Ben Gibbard mustang has a locked non working vibrato, whichever passed me off,,,but this is a working authentic working vibrato I would recommend this to anybody who wants to put in a mustang vibrato system or as a replacement,,,,awesome

Dovevo sostituire il ponte tremolo della mica chitarra Una Fender Squire Mustang. La resa é ottima tutta un altra cosa rispetto al ponte "Indonesiano" che montava la suddetta chitarra e che presentava problemi di stabilità con la leva che si allentava di continuo e la chitarra che si scordava sempre...Ottimo prodotto!...

In the late 80s I stupidly replaced the bridge and tremolo on my 1965 Fender Mustang with a Kahler. I no longer had the original hardware. This tremolo assembly along with a genuine Fender bridge worked out well for my restoration project.

Poor quality despite being genuine Fender part. The pivot point on the plate has no knife edge which is necessary for proper tremolo function. Even an inexpensive AllParts tremolo I purchased a few years back had the proper knife edge.Also received with a small gouge on the face from careless storage/handling .Returned item to seller.

Outstanding product easy to install but mine did not say "pat. pending" it was the same tremolo you'd get on a Kurt Cobain mustang or other Japanese models.
