Bought a wide mouth gallon glass jar for iced tea in the fridge and the lid came with a waxed (?) cardboard (?) liner. That won't last long so I swapped to this and it fits nice and tight and can be washed. Not flimsy at all and perfect for those big jars.

I am using this silicone seal on a large glass container that we use for summer drinks. The lid of the container leaked when it was carried around and we needed a seal to stop that. This seal does the trick. No more leaks from the top. We can easily transport this container without fearing leakage.

These are the perfect size for my 1-gallon fermentor jug cap. After the trashy foam seal in my cap got destroyed I bought these and they worked well. The only thing when using them is that you cannot tighten the cap down too much. These are very thick and will form a good seal even when it feels like you haven't tightened the cap down all the way. If you force the cap, it will actually expand the plastic in the cap and potentially break it or void the seal.

I don't ferment but I could not find any other seal to fit a 110mm jar for dry goods, but that is okay now because the best part is that these will make the jars resealable. these are great quality and fit perfectly. The seals I bought from another company for 89mm jars are only a single use seal.
