The bungee on this leash is pretty darn tight. I needed a leash that my lab could get a little further out when she’s trying to sniff grass while we’re on our walks and didn’t have to keep rolling up in my hand when she’s walking on the street. It does take her a little bit of effort to tug on this, but with her harness, it doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable for her. If your dog is wearing a collar with this, however, it may be uncomfortable on their neck.I like the Crossbody aspect of this leash however, I won’t use it very much And I did try it Crossbody and around the waist and when you have an 80 pound lab that decides she wants to go sniff it’s much harder to control her when this is a around your body or around your waist. It is very easy to connect and disconnect, though which I really like. It’s also very easy to disconnect the leash and change it into a handle, which is also very nice. At the end of the day, I really like the bungee part of this and I have swapped out her regular leash for this one from here on out. And I will say I like these a lot better than the retractable leash, especially with a large dog holding onto that plastic handle is pretty uncomfortable and your hands get pretty sweaty and with this that does not happen. Your hands do sweat, but there’s no hand fatigue holding onto it and if you’re using it, Crossbody, of course there would be no hand fatigue at all.

I have two dogs, so walking them both can sometimes be an adventure. One dog is 11 and he's nice and calm (unless he sees a squirrel), the other dog is a 6 month old chihuahua puppy I just adopted. OMG the energy this puppy has is insane! She wants to run and run! I walk them for over an hour and when I get home, she still has the zoomies! My concern is her getting lose in the area I live in, which has some really high traffic streets, where cars drive by going way faster than they should. I'm talking like 60+ miles an hour down a residential street. Anyway, I'm always concerned that she's going to get loose and run into the street. So concerned, I started tying the dog leashes together, so just in case she pulls and I drop her leash, my older dog will slow her down, because he will NOT run. lol But, I'm also concerned she'll hurt my older dog when she pulls if she takes off running. With this leash, I can still hold my older dog's leash in my hand, but hold the puppy with this new "running" leash, so I know she'll never get loose. And there's no way she's taking me with her. She's strong for a puppy, but I'm stronger! lol And the pocket fits my new Samsung Galaxy Ultra, which is pretty big, so that's a huge plus. I also throw my key in there and a few potty bags. It's just really convenient and more comfortable. The quality is very good, I'm going to see if there's any way I can attach the second dog, which would make my walks even easier. Smarter, not harder for the win!

Overall, a good hands-free dog leash. Adjustable to the waist & can fit my phone (Samsung Galaxy Ultra) along with poop bags. Additional pockets for keys to stay in place. the leash does detach into 2 pieces. I like the two buckles that you have options to for attachment. It's an easy-to-use hands-free dog leash, good for walking and running (or more like jogging). Color is great as well. Value is just okay.
