I wasn’t sure this would work for me and my 75 lb German Shepherd, but I wanted to give it shot. I don’t walk my dog outside very much because we have a fenced half acre where she gets plenty of exercise. But, I do like to garden and I wanted to teach her to stay with me while I garden in the unfenced front yard.I decided to try the leash out by walking her around the yard and I was so pleasantly surprised. I was wary that she would be able to make me lose my balance or even pull me off my feet but no way. I put the leash loosely around my waist and no matter how hard she pulls I’m stable. It’s loose enough that even when she runs around me the leash will rotate with her. I can also grab the leash if I need more control. When she becomes more accustomed to being on the leash, it will be a hands-free breeze.The leash itself is nice quality and strong and it comes with a matching collar.I’m very happy with it and if your dog already walks well on a leash, you’ll love this.

This hands free dog leash is a great invention! Fits great and so easy and convenient to be able to use hands free. Definitely helps prevent the good 'ol arm yank, when your pup sees something of interest and tries darting. I got this leash to use when helping to train our puppy to be a service dog for my blind son. It's nice to be able to wrap around my waist to walk her, while still having both hands to help care for my son's needs while walking with them both. Leash is a good length and seems like really good quality. I think I'm a super fan of the hands free leash now
