I have had this vise for several months and it has worked great. Always had a fixed vise so this was definitely a treat. The last vice I had started getting tight so the main screw was getting stripped. I do a good deal of hard clamping with it and this one has held up great. I have it mounted on the corner of a very heavy steel bench so the ability to pivot the head is a game changer. I was ecstatic when the bolt holes lined right up with my existing ones so the fit was perfect. All of my previous vises had the pipe clamp inside the main jaw and worked ok but having them on there own head was amazing. Just flip the head over and clamp a driveshaft right up with no issues.

Was a replacement vise for one I broke. Seems to be the same design so I bought this one. The paint was chipped off but with more use it will have more paint chips. All in all it works very well and the price is pretty reasonable.

Purchased in Dec 22 worked fine for basic use. The first time I needed to bend some metal the screws holding the vise jaws sheared off not just one but all. The screws must have been zinc not steel.I have been unable to get any support from the manufacturerI’m throwing it away and getting a. Enter one.

Although weighing in at just under 50 pounds, this vise not an anvil. That said, no anvil vise I've met has offered the positionability (-2 sp) of this overgrown bench clamp. No problem knocking out driveshaft u-joints and that sort of beating, but will avoid cold metal forming; I have an anvil for that.Very pleased @
