Got this to protect our important papers and have them all in one place in case of an emergency so we can grab it on our way out. I haven't tested for fireproofing/waterproofing as some other posters have, but these pouches seems very durable and are just as described. It's handy having the large bag as well as the small one. Great price, too!

I don’t think these are truly fire resistant or water proof. I think it’s all marketing. Most of these videos show a lighter trying to burn the bag or passing the bag quickly over a flame. If these were in an actual fire or flood, I believe it would offer little protection. However, I have these concerns side of a fireproof safe and that safe inside of another fireproof safe. So triple protection. Should hopefully make it through and major fire.
