These weeders are helpful for digging out deep roots. I like the 2-pack, because I'm always leaving tools behind somewhere in the garden. This lets me continue to work while I look for the other one.

The blades were nevr sharpened. The were so dull that I had to push them through an asparagas stalk. So I sharpened them and they get a 3 rating.

The only way to get rid of dandelions is with a weed puller. These are very strong, go into the soil very easily and get the whole root.

It’s for weeds..not a fun activity but it definitely gets out by roots for the most part. More challenging if your dirt is clay and it’s been dry. Still works but harder.

I've typically purchased weeders with a wooden handle but after I accidently tossed my last one with my green waste, I was attracted to this one because of they came in a pack of two, meaning I would have a spare. It's a sturdy weeder that works well and the Fiskar brand doesn't disappoint. The handle is a nice fit for my small hand and long enough to get those stubborn weeds with deep roots.
