I have a dual fuel generator with a hose and regulator that connects to the OPD style valve on the 20 and 30 pound propane tanks. I bought a 100 pound tank so I could extend the generator run time and discovered they only have the POL valve. This adapter converts the POL connection to the same as the OPD connection. This was a real life saver when we lost power for 5 days straight.
