This type of adapter requires the pin of the appliance to contact a stem inside of the adapter to open the propane tank. This adapter has a stem that is too short to connect to any appliances. Will not allow the flow of propane. Worthless.

Just as the title to this review suggests. . . . nice appearance and finish . . . I'd have given another half star had there been a dust cap on Both ends.They've only provided one dust cap for the 3/8" tapered end. The pound propane bottle end has a check valve but a dust cap over a unused gas fitting is always a good idea.
