This lasted a few weeks of light use and when we were making frosting this morning the wire started coming out of the hub. The original KitchenAide wire whip lasted for years. I looked for an option to return but it seems to not be returnable. Very disappointing.

This is what should be in the box from Kitchenaid, instead of their nasty metal whisk. I’ve used this with bread recipes as well as to make butter. It stands up to the job and is easy to clear of batter or butter, and it’s dishwasher safe.

I was really glad to get this, because you can put it in the dishwasher and it doesn’t turn black. The regular with that comes with the KitchenAid if you put them in the dishwasher, then get a black residue over them, so you have to hand wash them. That’s not a big deal, but it is nice to have the stainless steel and just be able to throw it in the dishwasher. This was a good purchase and I would recommend it. In fact, I also purchased one for my daughter.

This a better price than the original replacement whisk so I took a chance and bought. Perfect size and pleased with the quality.

This whisk fit my K45SS model Kitchenaid perfectly. The main hub is in fact stainless steel so totally dishwasher safe and freindly. It reached the depth of the bowl perfectly as well with a tiny bit of clearance. (there is an adjustment screw in the hinge of the motor head that could be tuned a bit if you needed to by the way). The others that are for sale have an aluminum hub in many cases and that would not be a great choice if you want to use the dishwasher, it would turn black. This one is stainless, spend the little extra money. This one is well made.

Nice replacement wire whip. Better and stronger than the original which broke. Use it often for baking and it holds up at all speeds. Definitely recommend.

Totally recommend! It’s honestly much better than the original one that came on my kitchen aid. It’s very strong and heavy and I know will last me a while. It is kinda pricey but in the end I say it’s totally worth it.

I bought a used (great condition) KitchenAid tilt head mixer which didn't have a whip. My model number didn't match anything offered, except the K45. So I took a chance and ordered this highly rated stainless steel wire whip. It fit without any problem! It makes the smoothest whipped cream imaginable! So glad I bought this one: Great Ratings! Great Price! Great Support from the company--got an email asking if I had any questions about whether it would work with my particular model. (Got to love that!) Fast Shipping! Question about if this will work with your KitchenAid? Ask the company. They're very responsive because they care! Can heartily recommend this one!
