And it’s easy to read! I’ve had it a year and recently noticed the solar panel was quite dirty. I was afraid it might not be absorbing sun and thus not working…. But it was still working perfectly (I verified the water temp reading on my pool’s panel)!

It was cute while it lasted. The solar light burned out after about 2 months - and then after about 5 months it "died" totally. It lays on its side and won't sit upright meaning even the thermometer is inaccurate. I didn't expect this to last forever, but did expect it to last at least 1 full pool season. Can't recommend.

It worked well for a week or so but the thermometer on the inside became unstuck and is moving around so we can’t tell the temperature well anymore. I tried to get a replacement but was told it not eligible for one. Waste of money

This thermometer was great for a month until the glass tube inside decided to just let go (I think it's just glued), leaving the device now just a mere decoration at night. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an easy way to get in it to try and fix it. That's too bad because we really liked it. It illuminates really well and was doing it's job. Now it's too late for me to return. I'd be willing to try again but not if I have to purchase it again. I left the seller some feedback, we'll see what happens.

It's cute and reflects true temp of water but doesn't float Upright. Kind of leans back. Does light up at night.
