This is a very good quality product. Heavy duty and solid. The blade is rigid and about as sharp as a putty knife.I'm using for popcorn ceiling removal and it does work well for that, though it is a pretty heavy tool to be holding over your head for an extended length of time. It is definitely a good back and shoulder workout. My popcorn ceilings have 6+ layers of paint and primer on them applied over the years, so the extra weight and momentum actually helps to cut through the stubborn painted popcorn. If you have an unpainted ceiling that doesn't require as much force to remove the popcorn, you may want to opt for something a bit lighter. If you're doing a ceiling with this tool, the length is good for a standard 8-foot ceiling and a 6-foot user, but a small platform to stand on to get a tighter scraping angle would help.

Why oh why do i have ornamental cherry tree?? (thats rhetorical) every year my sidewalk is covered in sticky cherries, and my floors / carpet get so dirty with cherry juice. This floor scraper is just what i needed, to scrape them off. works well.

Actually, I didn't want one with a real sharp edge...and I found it. I just needed one that could scrap gunk on the floor without taking up the tile and this was it! I also wanted one where I didn't have to bend over...and this is it! In fact, it's a lot taller than I had figured. A tall person would be very comfortable with this. It's not real heavy but the blade is weighted enough that only minimal pressure is needed for the job.. I love it.

Best scrapper ever! We've been using it to remove old carpet and padding. I had one from Home Depot, but it never worked as good as this one.

Works well for scraping poultry and livestock byproducts off of cement. Wider and firmer than I thought it would be. Very pleased.

I was very happy with this purchase, --it turned out to be a heavy duty tool, with very solid construction, --it works great.I would recomend it to anyone who needs to scrape up mortar or other heavy concrete slab cleaning jobs.
