The cat loves this tree!! He sits in the basket mainly, we have it situated behind the couch so they can look down at us and vice versa. They enjoy being so high up, although we do call it the kitty work pole it’s quite comical when they’re fighting on it. I recommend this it is sturdy and fits most heights of rooms.

Great product/quality for the price. However, the hammock bubble was very small and shallow. The description states it can hold up to a 20 lb cat by weight. But even my 10 lb cat struggled to fit herself into it comfortably and ended up having to purchase a larger 14 " hammock bubble separately to replace the undersized one that comes with the tower.Secondly, the instructions clearly state and all photos shown has the hammock attachment going on the pole first followed by the smaller footstep board. This is incorrect and causes the hammock to droop at an angle when the cat climbs in. But if you attach the footstep board first and then then the hammock bowl it will be properly supported without any dropping. The photo shown is the 14" hammock bowl that was purchased separately with the small installation modification we made. When you compare our photo with the description photos you can see the difference swapping these two pieces can improve support for your cat.

I was satisfied that this floor to ceiling cat tower is sturdy enough. However, I would not recommend this for every cat. It would be fine for a lithe and youthful cat who is very active and also within normal body weight. But if you have a cat that is middle-aged, stays indoors all the time and is a little bit on the heavier side, be aware that the platforms/perches are a bit small. My cat, who is an indoor cat and a little bit overweight struggles to find good footing to go from one platform to the next. Also, the cat hammock at the top is too small for a larger cat. I am having to order two larger perches to replace the platforms that came with this and a new larger hammock. If I’d known I would have to buy replacements I would’ve done a little more research and spent more money on a cat tower that came with larger perches and a hammock.

Made as cheaply as it can be and still do the job, but fortunately, that's just enough. Our cat loves the hanging basket bit, he spends half his time up there, observing. It's a bit wobbly, especially because the bolt at the bottom sticks out the farthest, but the spring-loaded bit at the top makes for a secure hold. It would be cool if there were more than 2 height adjusters but we still made it work. The wobble just makes it a bit less brittle, I think, and challenges our cat's balance, so we don't mind. Great fit for a small space. I don't really see the point of the rope toy, but it doesn't hurt anything. Appreciate that there's a strap to anchor it securely to the wall. Easy to put together with just the hex key they supplied, though we did use a drill to make a hole for the drywall anchor, which also came with it.

The kitten LOVES this!!! She climbs it like a tree and sleeps in the basket ❤️❤️❤️It assembled easily and is sturdy - the extension rod allows it to fit snugly against the ceiling. And it looks nice, not cheap. The scratchy parts are scratchy - covered with a thick twine-like material. The furry grey areas are soft and nice.I chose it for the small footprint. It really does only take up a corner of the room but is perfect for climbing - or just sitting and looking around :)

1 month update: My cats have not touched it once. They look at it like they miss the old tree but they refuse to go on this one.It is a nice color, and it fits well and was easy to assemble... but the cats haven't used it unless I put them on it. I had a different floor to ceiling cat tree that fell apart after 4 years, and my cats would run and jump on the old one, claw it, kick at it, they loved the old one, which had a firmer low pile carpet texture. This new cat tree is very soft, more like a polyester blanket than a carpet, so it is not the texture cats prefer to claw at. I'll have to remove the green fabric and replace it with rug doormats. I also noticed the platforms are small and the corners are rather sharp, so I have to angle the platforms so the corners don't hit the cats tummies as they jump down. The bed at the top will hold a small cat, too small for my big girl. I wouldn't recommend this one.
