I bought and installed this on my 2016 Ram, 1500. It gave it a much more aggressive sound on start up and more so with acceleration. Super happy with this product and I'll buy it again as of now.

After much research and discussion. I decided on this unit, do to the well written reviews and descriptions given. As everyone knows getting the proper exhaust sound all depends on what you drive and how old you are. I wanted something mildly aggressive, but not on start up and no drowning in the cabin and this thing works perfectly. They did not lie about 30 minutes to install it. All you need is a 15 mm wrench, some anti-seize and some PB blaster and you’re good.

I was planning on installing this myself but the existing bolt heads were facing up and I couldn't get them loose. I had to have a muffler shop install it .Sounds great ,couldn't be happier with it .

Sounds perfect, just what I wanted, a nice rumble on start up, really mild at idle and low RPMs but a nice deep snarl when you get on it. If you want your hemi to sound like a hemi but not be "that guy" that annoys the entire neighborhood, this is the muffler for you. Haven't had it on the highway yet but around town, the drone was minor but noticeable. As far as installation, the muffler fits perfectly. Getting the stock muffler out was 3/4 of the job. Do yourself a favor, just undo the hangers on both tail pipes (one on passenger side, two on driver side) I just knocked them off the vehicle side with a hammer, then cut the rear factory muffler clamps with a death wheel. The rear factory clamps are tack welded on the bottom side so just cut the band and pry it open with a screw driver. You can then grab each tail pipe and rock it back and forth/ pull and it comes apart fairly easily. Then undo the forward clamp on the stock muffler ( I was able to get the front off with a ratchet 5/8 socket I believe) then remove the stock muffler. To install, just repeat that but in reverse. It helps to have a buddy assist with lining everything up. Once you have it together and all the hangers in place, tighten down the new clamps and youre good to go.

Easy install. Hardest part is getting old muffler off. Once that is done, it all goes together nicely.Sounds amazing. Very happy with it.

Sounds awesome with a little drone in the 1500to 2000 rpm range. Give it some gas and let's everyone know that you have a hemi.

My Flowmaster FX arrived, and was installed, yesterday on my 2019 Ram Classic Crew Cab. I have the 5.7L engine, factory dual exhaust pipes, and 5'7" bed. I wanted an exhaust with some deep tone, but not obnoxious sounding. This exhaust is just that.A friend and I had the old exhaust off in abut 15 minutes, and the Flowmaster on and clamped in another 15.I had to readjust the position of the tips slightly to get them centered in the rear bumper cutouts but it was a snap. I was also able to get under the truck without having to use jackstands or ramps. The exhaust note has a deep rumble to it now. On startup it's not very loud, just deep and mellow like I wanted it. Accelerating from a stop the volume is noticeable in the cab with the windows up, but still not loud. At highway speeds, the exhaust is barely noticeable in the cab over the wind and tire noise. With the cruise control on climbing a slight grade will increase the volume in the cab but not excessively so. I have no trouble hearing the radio. I would imagine towing a trailer with any load will probably make it louder inside.I didn't hear any droning in the cab at any speed or RPM, but in ECO mode at 40-45mph it does make that fonky 4-cylinder sound. Just like the stock pipe but deeper. I usually kick it out of ECO when in town anyway. On the highway in ECO it doesn't sound much different than stock, just a little deeper. When I say "drone" I mean that buzzy reverberation some exhausts make at certain RPMs. This muffler has none of that.Floor it and it makes for a nice roar. But not that raspy kind of loud, more like the kind of sound a V8 should make.If anything changes, or I hook up to a loaded trailer, I'll update my review.I also track my fuel economy closely by hand and if that changes I'll update. But so far, I like it!Update: I've had this muffler on for more than a year and the exhaust note hasn't changed. Still a nice mellow rumble on startup and no increase in noise in the cab, and no reverberation (buzzing).Pulling a trailer does increase the volume in the cab but I can still hear the radio, talk on the phone, or carry on a conversation with no problem. Very satisfied with this setup.

Super easy install after taking the stock muffler off (had to get out the angle grinder to remove the stock clamps), sounds awesome, deep tone but not obnoxiously loud! No drone on the highways either, 100% would recommend for a moderate sound.

I have a single 3" exhaust 4.7L V8 2010 Dodge RAM SLT regular cab 4x4. This was a direct fit muffler I used to convert my truck to dual exhaust. Perfect fit, easy install, great low rumble that sounds moderately aggressive when you give it gas. The finish on the muffler is very nice, and exactly as pictured. I am guessing it is about 13lbs lighter than the OEM muffler.
