Great OEM replacement. Perfectly without any issues. Does not ship with gaskets, so by those separately. I assumed it would, but my mistake.

I spent over $700 dollars on a muffler system. 2 things were missing. They were the 2 nuts which go on the spring bolts. They are fine thread and are impossible to find. Amazon only had 1 which I ordered. I have to trash the bolts because Walker does not send nuts with their bolts. When you are replacing an old meffler you inevitably have to change the nuts as well. Whar a complete shame that Walker cannot include nuts with their bolts. Walker this is not how you became an old reliable manufacturer. Fix this issue up. It is the least you can do.

The weld buildup and slag was so bad , it would not even allow the parts to go together flush. I had to hire somebody to grind it out so they would properly fit together. Terrible attention to detail I can't even believe they shipped this out. I guess quality control doesn't exist with this company. If I didn't need to have it installed right away I would have sent it back. Cost me another $50 to have it ground out so it was correct. I won't buy anything from them again

The muffler is a CHEAP STAINLESS STEEL, and the rest including welding's is regular steel.In fact it was shipped unwrapped and left outside under rain and got completed rusted.I had to use rust remover spray and painted with engine high temperature black paint.

2008 FJ Cruiser 6MT Base model factory size replacement bolted right up to front and tailpipe sections of factory SS exhaust that had rotted away just after muffler. Appears to be welded well, strong and no damage in shipping which was a concern since they do not even box it up. Kind of a pain to remove all of the shipping labels off of it but a heat gun and lacquer thinner took care of it. As far as sound it's more quiet than the factory system and all I hear now in my FJ is wind noise and no longer the motor's exhaust sound which is exactly what I wanted.Update: March 20, 2023 - Rusted through at tailpipe fitting. Never drive in salt and winter, to be expected I guess for a budget replacement.
