Do not buy these. I purchased 4 sets and they are pretty much worthless :(. Velcro is so thin it doesn’t hold the leggings on. I was hoping to save some money and not buy “Shoo fly”. big mistake!!

Does your horse go through fly boots faster than some people change their clothes? Do you spend hours combing your pasture, looking for missing fly boots and masks? While these boots are not entirely horse resistant, they are at least easy to spot with their vibrant purple color. I really like the soft fleece lining on the edges to protect my horse's sensitive legs. The stays within the boot help them stand up and not collapse, and I am not noticing any rub marks on the horse's legs.I rated the fly boots four stars because I have concerns about the long term durabilty. Even after just a few days of use, I am seeing some concerning wear spots, and I don't know that these will last the entire summer.

These might work on a taller horse; but for my daughter's 12.3 hand pony and my 13.3 hand Paso Fino, these didn't work.They constantly slid down and never stayed put.That said, even after trying to make them work for 2 weeks, they're still in good shape, so, maybe if I ever get a taller horse, these might work?Overall, I'm underwhelmed, so I'll just keep fly spraying my horses.

I love myself some nice fly boots and these are NICE fly boots. I love that they are a bit more bubbled-texture which is really nice for a horse that like to rub on everything. They are very durable and have held up nicely for everyday use! The velcro is nice and strong and holds really well. Cleaning wise, because of the mesh they do hold dirt however nothing that a hose can handle! I think they fit great on my friesian mare who has thicker legs and are easy to put on / take off.

These fly boots make a decent back up pair to my Shooflys. They fit my OTTB well and I like the velvety lining around the edges. The purple color is cute and vibrant.I do have some durability concerns and don’t expect them to last a full season. There is starting to get some wear around the support “rod” that gives them shape and the Velcro isn’t the strongest.Overall, they won’t replace my nicer fly boots, but they will work well enough as a backup.

Absolutely do not buy these. Put them on my horse and within three days the metal brace on each leg popped up through the mesh absolutely worthless.
