I bought 2 of them for my helmets.They are excellent in communication. The one thing that gets me annoyed is that for some reason sometimes if you push the wrong button they get disconnected from one another.

Range is not even close to what is claimed. Lost communication within a couple hundred feet consistently. Any obstructions ie houses, trees and it disconnects. Pairing headset to headset is a nightmare. Voice prompts very annoying, a constant reminder that it just doesn't work very well.

When I got my Buddy 50 scooter running again, I upgraded my kit to a nice full face motorcycle helmet, gloves, and jacket (yea I know full armor for a scoot is a bit overkill, but traffic in my area is getting reality stupid, even on side streets). After zipping around for awhile I began get a bit frustrated having to stop and readjust GPS on the iPhone for directions and removing gloves a answer calls etc. After some shopping on Amazon I can across the Fodsports FX6 S. It checked off all the box's of features I was looking for: weather proof, easy-to-use controls, Bluetooth, radio, etc.Unit came nicely pakaged with easy to read instructions. installation was straightforward, the only downside was the sticky pads for the mic and speakers was pretty weak had to use industrial grade tape to attach them.Setup was easy as was Bluetooth pairing. So I like the look and function of this unit but the sound quality isn’t there. The freedcon unit I was using before this wasn’t as sleek but the sound quality was way better. Idk if the speakers are blown out or defective but definitely need to reevaluate. It’ll work for now until I either find better speakers or a new unit.

I’m a solo rider and wanted something simple to listen to my music and my gps instructions. Have tried other brands including the Sena 20s, and was throughly disappointed with the volume and build quality. This little thing is simple, light and just works. The jog wheel works great for adjusting volume and changing tracks on the fly. I do not use the intercom feature. However, if you are simply looking for a nice Bluetooth speaker setup for your helmet, this could be a great option for you.

This product is decent for the price. We received two sets for less than $150. The installation is easy if you know your way around a motorcycle helmet. The initial set up can be confusing with the pairing and sync’ng to other devices. It took us a while to get going. The sound quality isn’t that great and the speakers sound “tinny” with music. The volume control is easy to operate using that main large button. It also functions to change the music. The range on the helmet to helmet coms is generous and it is not line of sight. The call function when connected to an iPhone is not hands free requiring manipulation of the phone screen which is NOT safe while in motion. Once the call is active the low volume is a factor. My main problem is volume. With wind and road noise, engine and exhaust noise, I wear ear plugs. The volume on the coms is not loud enough for me to clearly hear the voice coms or the music if I have that going. It’s a little easier to hear the voice coms than the music though. To sum it up if the volume could be increased this set would be perfect for the price. It’s functional but not optimum as it is.

These are easy to set up, easy to install inside the helmet, the sound is good, i use it for music, to hear my gps, to talk with my friend when we ride. I have been using them for a month on a single charge. The buttons are easy to use even with your gloves on. For the price, look no further, get them! U wont be disappointed!

Sound quality is ok, very little bass for listening to music. My only attempt to connect to another rider with a Bluetooth helmet (Sena) failed, might not have been close enough though. I might be expecting a lot from a Bluetooth unit like this being used to connecting to vehicle audio which normally sounds awesome. It does open up great opportunities for staying connected with your phone and (potentially) fellow riders. For me, just having music to listen to helps solo rides tremendously. The battery life is outstanding, giving me many hours of use (only had to recharge once since the initial charge after receiving). Once I figure out how to link to other riders I'll have a better recommendation for this unit. Still give it 4 stars overall

We found that at low speeds it’s great. At higher speeds though the sounds for speaking and music isn’t great. It’s not horrible but not great. Bang for buck it’s worth it though
