This review is for Privacy Screen Protector for Macbook Air 13 Inch (2018-2021) Mac Pro 13 inch (2016-2023) Removable Anti Peeping Anti Blue Light Glare Privacy Filter Shield for Mac 13.3 Inch Laptop.I got this for my 2020 MacBook Air. It fits perfectly. There is a little space around the edge, but the instruction booklet says this is intentional, and I've noticed that it makes removal and reapplication easier than if the product went all the way to the edge.It is easily applied. Even without any tools, there are no air bubbles thanks to the updated technology incoorporated. The tabs on the protector are labelled "1" and "2" so users know in which order to remove the protective films.Users with webcam covers already installed may find the cover needs replacing. Most camera are not designed for repeated application, and the hole in this privacy screen is not large enough to go around most webcam covers.The manufacturers recommend using less than 50 percent brightness with the privacy screen in place.

First, yes this does help with privacy but it’s pretty weak, I would prefer more of a wide angle to on lookers. I find that even straight on, this diminishes the brightness and clarity of my screen quite a bit. Also remember these don’t do anything for someone looking over your shoulder.Otherwise it’s easy to use and straight forward.

I work with numbers all day and I have to protect my screen. The screen protector definitely works. It was easy to install and it adhered right to the screen. It is a good buy and a quality piece. I highly recommend it.

This screen privacy is easy to install, and has a sleeve to place the screen in it when not in use. Plus for both! I just wish it actually worked well. You will need to dim your scree, which is annoying, to make it work well. So, it really depends on your preference. If you like to work with a dimmed screen, this is your privacy screen. For us old folks who need light to see - nope..

I purchased this privacy screen for use when I have to be in a group setting and need to use my laptop. I don’t care for people looking over my shoulder, trying to see what I’m working on. The screen itself is easy to install and I haven’t noticed any issues with visibility. I’m able to keep it on the computer without removing it with no issues. However it doesn’t seem to do much to block the side view. If someone were sitting beside me, they may not be able to see exactly what I was writing, but they would easily be able to see which program I had open. For example, if I was in a meeting and wanted to get on the Internet (…which I would never do of course) it would be easy for someone sitting beside me to know that I was online. I have a similar privacy screen for my phone and it works much better, appearing dark to those who are not standing right over my shoulder.

This forced me to increase the brightness significantly, which unfortunately impacted the laptop's battery life.Ultimately, while the RVAPU Privacy Screen Protector excels in providing privacy, the drawbacks of reduced visibility and increased power consumption led me to remove it. If you prioritize privacy over screen clarity and battery efficiency, this product could still meet your needs, but be prepared for some trade-offs.
