This alternator lasted a few short passes at the drag strip. Not a very good product it wrecked my belt and hardly charges.

The wire hits the motor on the tractor. The AC Delco come out the back the AC Delco takes one wire this one takes two.

This alternator is not self excited. It requires another wire to the plug on the back of the alternator to make it charge. Other than that so far so good. I have had it on my LS1 swap engine for a few weeks now.

Used to replace and convert older generator system. Chosen for its small size.Did not work when connected via one wire; was not self exciting. Once a second power source was added through a switched circuit, it worked.This is a two wire alternator.No instructions or advice from seller when contacted but they immediately replaced the first one and offered to refund the second before I figured it out.

Good alternator for the price. The only reason I can't give this alternator five stars is that it needed to be self-excited to produce ~13 volts, so it is not exactly a one wire alternator. If you buy this and it doesn't work out of the box, watch a you tube video about how to self-excite a one wire alternator. I permanently did this by connecting the wiring harness hookup to my battery so it automatically self excites. I expect this all happened to me because this alternator was rebuilt and Asia and probably shipped across the ocean on a ship versus a US rebuild that shipped faster by truck.
