This is the 4th doggie life jacket from 4 different companies that I've ordered for my 70 lb Golden Retriever. I go by the size chart and they are too big or too small. Not this Fragralley Dog Life Jacket with High Buoyancy, Reflective Strips, Rescue Handle--it's a perfect fit! In terms of quality for price ($43.99), it's probably 3 stars, but I'm willing to overlook that unless it falls apart over the summer. It's fairly thin in terms of whatever floatation material is inside, but that probably makes it more comfortable to wear. He's a pretty good swimmer but I like the peace of mind in case he goes too far. He's a slimmer dog, with a 30" chest, 18" neck (hard to tell with all the floof) so I chose an XL. The back is 17", the tightest neck opening is about 20". The front of the neck secures with velcro and an adjustable nylon strap with plastic buckles. The neck piece in front is padded with the flotation material. It has a heavy metal ring-like contraption on top for attaching a leash. There are 2 handles on top for lifting your dog out of the water. They seen well sewn, but we haven't been in the water yet. They are sewn directly to the top--it would be a better design if the attachment point was on a strap that went around the dog. The belly secures with velcro and 2 adjustable nylon straps. I ordered the red and blue so with the spiderweb design on the panel, he has a Spiderman look going which my daughter really loved.

We spend so much time in the water from spring to mid fall in Georgia that a really good life jacket is a NEED and a MUST.We have bought several different ones here in Amazon and in Marine stores as well. However, this is by far the sturdiest and more secure we have find. Might not be the cutest (even though it’s really cute), but you want your doggie to be safe at all times.The Velcro straps are very long and strong and they hold very well the belly and bottom area adjusting to your needs.It also has strong clasps to make it more secure.The double handle (on the L and XL sizes) are extremely helpful when trying to lift your furry buddy from the water.We also appreciate the reflective straps that make it very visible at night, even though we do not navigate at nighttime almost never.but you never know when you will need it. Another important feature is the metal ring to hook up the leash and pull your dog. Very useful.I really feel very confident our precious dog is safe in this dog vest.

This little life jacket is everything I was looking for - and more! It's well made, it has multiple closures to ensure that even in the case of an emergency, it WILL stay on my little furbaby, and it WILL keep him floating. Our dogs love to go anywhere we go, including fishing out on the boat - but neither one of them will swim, they just freak out, and pull themselves under - so for us, lifejackets aren't optional - they're a must. And this one has one feature that I already know will make ALL the difference if I ever have to pull him back out of the water and that is the thick handle in the middle of the back.I know that he doesn't look very thrilled...but he's a really timid dog, anything new and different throws him into "the sky is falling" mode..... it's just the pup he is and not a statement about the lifejacket. And hey, check out that trendy and fashionable spiderweb on the side, he'll probably like it a lot better when all the girl furbabies notice how handsome he is with it on.

Easy to put on and made of quality materials.I bought this oversized for my current pup because she'll grow into it. Even so, putting it on was simple and the materials were flexible enough to fit her current size. We gave this a really good once-over into the materials because yeah, you're trusting your pets life to a flotation jacket it better stand up to abuse!The color choices are great too. Very bright and visible. Unlike a walking vest which you might want to look "cool", out in the water you want visible as a huge priority. Our pup is in a chewy phase, but she didn't manage to grab at any straps or the material, it stayed on, another great design.It's too early in the year to get out in the boat around here, but with a dry test run we're confident our pup will be secure out in the water.

This doggy life-jacket is both adorable and very secure! I love how bright the colors are, my baby will definitely stand out in the water and won't be able to slip out of the life-jacket. Not sure why they went with a spiderweb design but it's pretty great!
