ND16 filter compatible with Air 2S Drone
The ND16 filter compatible with Air 2S from Freewell Gear decreases the amount of light entering the camera lens by 4 f-stops. This is helpful in balancing the image perfectly and capturing sharp footage in normal daylight conditions. Apart from slowing down your shutter speed, the ND filters are also effective in avoiding the unwanted ‘Jell-O’ effect which is often seen in footage captured without ND filters.

Freewell ist ein Name, der nicht nur bei den Foto-Videografen mit der Drohne ein Begriff ist. Für mich seit vielen Jahren ein Qualitätsversprechen in meiner Fototasche, das mich nie enttäuscht hat.Diese Filterserie ist eine Kombination aus ND- und Polfilter und das macht sie interessant, wenn der Einsatz über spiegelnden Flächen (Flüsse, Seen ..) stattfindet.Normalerweise wähle ich den passenden Filter nach der Helligkeit, halte die Drohne in die Richtung, in der ich fotografieren will und drehe den Polfilter so, bis er die Reflexionen maximal filtert.Nur selten kommt es vor, dass ich die Drohne nochmal landen und nachjustieren muss.Die DJI Air 3 ist meine erste Drohne mit mehreren Kameras. Leider haben die beiden Kameras unterschiedliche Blendenwerte. Das bedeutet beim Einsatz dieser Filter, dass man beim Wechsel zwischen den Kameras auch den Belichtungswert korrigieren muss.Das ist manchmal ärgerlich, es liegt aber nicht an den Filtern, sondern an den Kameras der Drohnen.Wenn ich den Polfilter nicht brauche, setze ich deshalb Splitfilter - ebenfalls von Freewell ein. Die haben unterschiedliche ND-Werte für die beiden Kameras, ein Umschalten zwischen den Kameras ist somit schnell und komfortabel möglich.Nun sind die Freewell-Produkte nicht ganz günstig. Wenn ich mir nur einen Satz leisten wollte, würde ich diesen Satz hier mit Polfilter kaufen und die Einstellerei in Kauf nehmen - weil der Mehrwert größer ist.

As a professional photographer of over 20 years I can tell you that just by looking through the filters by eye that they are a true neutral. I'm truly happy with this product. I will be purchasing more of their products.

Juste parfait pour faire mes shoots en pleine mer avec mon R2s.J ai moins de contrainte quant j ai une forte lumière qui reflet sur l eau .je n ai pas tjs la possibilité d ajuster donc je passe du mode pro au mode auto en fonction de la vitesse du kyte surf ou foil ou bateau !

These filters have helped my drone tremendously. I have them on almost all the time. The biggest issue I had was that it was a bit more difficult to put on the camera than the filters given by DJI itself. This is the only thing keeping it at 4 stars (really should be 4.5). Good product.

I noticed a definite improvement in color quality compared to the DJI ND filters. This one is more neutral and transmits color more cleanly.

The difference in cinematic quality on a bright sunny day is night and day (pun intended). Stop shooting choppy video when the day is at its brightest with the help of these filters.

Fits great on my Air 2S, has a white hash mark on the filter and on the ring to set the filter at the proper setting for each condition. It is well made and I hope that it lasts.
