The sweep is very well made. The reason for the three stars is that the rubber is VERY stiff, which means you do not have a lot of leeway when positioning on the door. A smidge too low & it wants to fight the door operation due to inflexibility.

Easy to cut to size with a hacksaw and easy to install with the provided (cheap quality) wood screws. A metal door will need proper sheet metal screws.

This ended up being longer than my door though I measured it before hand. Thankfully my neighbor had metal clippers to trim it for me. Not sure if it was a mistake or if they come longer. Overall works great and cut down on cold air coming in.

I like this draft stopper. I installed it and was impressed with it's ability to keep the cold draft from coming in my house. I only wished I had done it much, much sooner. Buy it works great. Oooh......l want to add that the material used is great and made very durable. I know this will last me a long time before it ever have to replace it.

I purchased these door sweeps & the they were easy to install ,even for a woman & I could tell the difference with the draft I had previously , they work great to help keep the cold & bugs out ! I received 2 orders so 4 total that I did not order . They come two in a pack & I only needed 1pk so contacted the company & they sent me a refund &I didn’t have to send the extra back so I really appreciated that but I would send it back because that just good business so now I have I have a spare . Thank you Frost King !

These are awesome.I tried sawing a bunch of these. It sucked. I found I could slice these with a metal cutting scissors or nippers. And then use a pliers to bend back the bent portion. This saved me so much time and all that metal mess. I put these on almost every door in my house. I did 7 or 8 of these in one night. With the metal hand saw it would have taken like 7 hours. With the nippers and pliers it took like three hours. They've only been up for two weeks and the missus is jumping for joy because of the reduction in pests, like rolly pollies, spidey webbies, inch worms, millipedes, and all that. Plus the draft. I mean we have those rubber things under the doors, but there is still a gap and those batards always figure a way in.I used a lutz ratchet hand screw driver, i predrilled teeny tiny holes like a quarter inch into the door bottlms using blue tape on the drill bitbyo guide me and holding the sweep as a guide obviously. I did the holes and screws one at a time to make sure the sweep was flush with the floor. And i didn't want any extra holes ruining the doors etc.Occasionally when you cut your piece the hole is in the wrong place. Like over the wood seems which will weaken your door. So you'll need two drill bits to make new holes where you need them. A teeny tiny one. And an 1/8" one. Drill your tiny ones first. I found it harder to use the big bits first. So do the tiny one first then switch to the 1/8" so the screw will fit. Have a shopvac handy to vac up all the lil debris you make at each doorway. Also i used the "Open It!" Green scissors to fine tune the door sweeper cuts. These are essential household scissors for opening all those impossible to open plastic packages. Amazon boxes, etc.
