Item arrived two days earlier then the promised date. It was easy to install. The friction between the vinyl fins and our wood threshold required a forceful push or pull to open and close. This was resolved by applying a thin film of vaseline as lubricant. It seems to do a good job in blocking the air leak.

I recently refinished a dozen outside doors on our home (that was fun!) and installed these sweeps on each. With a concrete foundation the original installers had varying success getting the anchoring screws flush on the door jamb. These sweeps have been just ripped up by them. So if one part of the product tears it eventually tears across the whole door. The end result is two to three of the swipes wind up coming off in strips. This has happened on about half my doors. Would I buy them again? In the end I did because I couldn't find anything better for the size I needed.
