Was a good replacement for the original plastic that I broke. Only bad thing, O ring gasket was in the wrong place and it got ruined when I installed and had to use my old one.

The product felt good and sealed but the test port would not come out. I tried many different Allen keys and even torx for a better bite but I could not get the cap screw out. Again went of good but you’re screw in the middle might not come out.

I was a little skeptical when I read some of the reviews about this cap leaking. However I noticed that the reviews that reported a leak, were using their old o-ring wich is a recipe for disaster. I made sure to lubricate both the new OEM o-ring and the filter housing with a light film of engine oil. Then be careful when seating in the new cap making sure not to bind up the seal.Pressing in the new filter on the cap seemed like it wouldn't fit at first but goes in with a little effort. Make sure it is lined up straight and DO NOT twist the filter as you press onto the cap. Make sure to tighten to OE spec.All said and done I am happy with the new cap and very glad to see the plastic disaster that was there gone.The only reason I can't give this five stars is because I had to source a new seal/o-ring the one that it comes with is unusable and you must use yellow Teflon or loctite on the bolt on top.

I did like the ability to mount a fuel pressure gauge on top so that's a plus, even though I didn't get to use it.The filter threads didn't seem to be cut correctly. They were biased to one side and very sharp, making me think the machining process had issues.There were two apparent o ring grooves, no instructions on which one to use.I used the top groove but it would not seat entirely. The o ring blew out after 20 miles, luckily in my driveway instead of on the side of the interstate.Form looks nice, function is lacking. This is too important of a filter cap to allow poor quality to exist.Also note there were no guidelines or instructions in the package.I don't like leaving bad reviews but I have to be honest with what I experience.I hope everything goes well with others.

Replace my upper fuel filter cap on my 06 6.0 diesel. Non corrosive material. Also came with a fuel sensor to check fuel PSI.
