How to Replacing Ignition Coils
- 1. Clip one end of a spark tester to the ignition cable and ground other end to the cylinder head. Spin the flywheel rapidly (at least 350 RPM) and watch for a spark in the tester window. If theres no spark the coil will need replaced.
- 2. Unhook the spark plug wire and remove any batteries. Remove the flywheel cover and engine housing. Remove the old ignition coil mounting screws and disconnect the stop switch wire from flywheel and remove coil.

Fixed The No Start Problem
- If you lawnmower it was hard to start even when warm engine; run for a few minutes then stop and wouldnt restart until it got cold again.
- At this point, you need to replace the ignition coil & spark plug make your lawnmower starts first time, every time. Runs like it was new.
