Fusible Fabric Application

Fusible Interfacing Sewing Projects

Woven Interfacing

Woven Fusible interfacing is a versatile material used in sewing to give fabric structure and stability. It is made from a combination of polyester and other synthetic fibers that are woven together. The interfacing is then bonded with an adhesive, which allows it to be fused onto the fabric with an iron or other heat source. This makes it ideal for use in garments and craft projects that require a firm, yet flexible support. Woven Fusible interfacing can be used to add body to fabrics such as cotton, linen, denim, and wool as well as providing additional support for heavier fabrics like leather and vinyl. It can also be used in home sewing projects such as quilts, purses, and bags. Woven fusible interfacing provides an extra layer of support for fabrics that may otherwise be too fragile or delicate to work with on their own. With its wide range of uses, woven fusible interfacing is an essential tool for any seamstress or tailor looking to craft beautiful garments and accessories.

Non-Woven Fusible Interfacing

Non-woven fusible interfacing is a type of fabric that provides additional support and stability to garments and other textile products. It is typically made from polyester or nylon fibers that are bonded together with a heat-activated adhesive. This interfacing helps to give shape and structure to the garment while also making it more durable and resistant to wear. Non-woven fusible interfacing can be used in a variety of applications, including on collars, cuffs, waistbands, pockets, plackets, facings, hems, and more. It is also often used in quilting projects as an extra layer of support for the fabric layers.

Good value for the money. This product is rough compared to Shape Flex interfacing so I wouldn't recommend it for clothing. But it seems to work well for purses. It is easy to fuse to fabric using a regular iron on high setting for about 10 seconds.

I have made several t shirt quilts using the featherweight fusible with good albiet somewhat stiff results. This 100% cotton fusible makes for a far more cuddly quilt. The t shirts are stabilized without the weight and rigidity that the poly fusible causes. Highly recommend!

I usually use pellon sf 101 interfacing but last year I bought Lolona Fashion fusible interfacing and liked it a lot better. It seems sturdier, and fuses better. This is the second time I have order from this company and I know I will be ordering again when I use this package. I like to make totes and bags and in my opinion this is a very good product

this product is very similar to Pellon SF101, but less expensive. Easy to use and stays in place.

I like the fact this is a woven interfacing. Nice weight for lining deonstructed silk neckties used in making quilted cell phone purses and multiple size cross body bags. The only major problem with this product isn't the product but the lack of application instructions. The only directions given was the temperature of the iron setting. Is this to be used with a pressing cloth - damp or dry. Should the iron be on the steam setting or dry setting? I shall try several methods to see what is the best application method.

Lolona Fashion interfacing is the best interfacing I have ever purchased!!. It's lightweight, easy to use and performs in garment/project better than I anticipated. This vendor also delivered a project timely and the packaging was wonderful. Lolona, seamstresses will be blessed to locate and purchase from your shop. I will certainly be a repeat purchaser.

I purchased this product for the first time because the one I usually use is out of stock. But this product is so far superior to what I was using I will use it in the future instead. I use it to make interfaced face masks, and it works beautifully for that. It fuses well to both the outside, often pieced, face mask halves, and equally well to the lining pieces, also sometimes pieced. (I used to do quilting a lot before the pandemic.) In addition, the non-fusing side takes my cut-line markings with a pen around my template excellently well. I would heartily recommend this interfacing to anyone making face masks. (It doesn't hurt that its a "Made in the USA" product!)

I am making a very important T-Shirt Quilt for my retired Navy son. This is my first T-shirt Quilt. This fusible Interfacing worked beautifully. My T-shirts came out nice & smooth. I had one little wrinkle due to my not watching closely while ironing it on. I tried to lift it to fix my mistake & it stuck just like it is suppose to. As it turned out it will be Okay. I understand this is a small business which I love supporting. THEY NEED OUR HELP & they have a good product.
