This FVS318TB 3.18 GPM tankless natural gas water heater from the FVSTR store is surprisingly capable and is proving to be an expedient alternative to providing my RV with portable and quick water heating for my sink and shower units within the vehicle.The setup was a bit complicated for me as this was the first time I have ever made an adjustment of this size to my stock RV, but it was an older model and the previous system had failed and was no longer providing heated water. It was very convoluted and antiquated by comparison to this system. I like how responsive the controls are, how easy it is to simply use gas through the inlet, and it was coincidentally the same diameter for the exhaust pipe as I already had in my RV, only needed a little bit of silicon pumped around the edges to seal it properly.Everything works quite well, it seems fairly quiet, though perhaps not as much as the advertising suggests it is, but I have other things in the RV making noise also so it's not really a big deal. Overall, even though I had no idea what I was doing when I first started, the instructions made it fairly easy, I was able to figure out anything else on my own, and I am really pleased with the change. This tankless heating unit has really modernized my camper, and is system that really seems to work great for my needs. 5 stars.

Omg do not buy this garbage. My camplux froze this winter (my fault) so I needed a new one. Figured this one’s half the price why not go for it?! BECAUSE ITS AWFUL.1. About 50% of the time I can’t even get it to turn on.2. In the rare case it does, it shuts off randomly with no problem indication or error code.3. Should it read an error code, good luck finding out what it is because there’s no contents.4. On the very very very slim occasion that it actually works for more than 3 minutes, it can’t keep a consistent water temperature in the slightest before it inevitably shuts off. Huge waste of money and water. Save yourself the headache and select another model.

The advantages of energy saving and instant heating are particularly obvious. This water heater is designed to heat water sequentially. Once, only when you open the compartment, it will start to heat the water, and there will be no waiting delay for the hot water. In the past, my family used a traditional water tank water heater, and it often took several minutes to get hot water, especially in winter, when the cold water was piled up in the pipe for a long time, which made people even more uncomfortable. This tankless water heater completely solves this problem. As long as the air conditioner is turned on, the hot water will come immediately, and the water temperature is constant, without the problem of the water temperature fluctuating.

Works well to wash dogs outside, you do need a different connector to attach the tap hose to the gas heater, it’s not supplied but was easy to purchase from a plumbing shop. Heating controls a bit fiddly but works very well

Au départ il ne fonctionnait pas...j ai donc changé les piles toujours rien...j ai donc changé l arrivé d eau avec une pompe a2 volts en me branchant direct au robinet et la direct l eau chaude instantanément...vous pouvez y aller c est du bon matériel...le seul point négatif est qu on doit arrêter l eau du robinet sinon ça ne s arrête pas. Je vais essayer avec une pompe à accus et deux réservoir de 100l vidéo en cour à suivre.

No support and manual worthless. Don't show or explain switch or red light. Next - how to turn off/on or to know if it's working!! So what's the SWITCH and RED LIGHT ON THE WATER HEATER????

Product was an opened box. Bottom of the unit was dented and light pushed out. I didn’t return cause we were leaving for the property. I finally installed and works great. I like that it had a winter and summer setting. Basically a hi and low. We like hot water so running in winter mode even though it’s summer. So far so good. Easy to install and use I would recommend.

The product description says it comes with the gas hose and regulator. It does NOT come with the gas hose and regulator. This water heater is useless without those parts. I believe the description to be intentionally misleading as there is no room in the box for both those missing parts.

Well product shipped ok and fast but standard American exhaust,dose not fit top is 3.5 inches all,standard exhaust is 4 or 3 inch I,contacted the company twice to ask what type of exhaust to use and only got a the same automated reponce both,times ...i,had to make my own exhaust sleve to maje things fit
