This is a solid xbox controller, considering its price point, and that's the main thing I'd consider, just manage your expectations for a controller that is a fraction of the cost of a Microsoft Xbox controller, and you'll be happy. Everything functions exactly as it should, and I am using it with a MacBook, so I can attest to its compatibility. If it works with a Mac then it's definitely going to work with a PC, and an Xbox.My other controller is the standard Xbox X/S controller, with changeable batteries, and retails for $65, though I think I picked mine up for $45 or $50. So that's what I'm comparing this Gamrombo to, and I can tell you that when I'm using the Gamrombo I have no complaints. It's only when I compare it directly to the Microsoft controller that I can really see a difference in quality, mostly with the paddles and the D-pad, they just aren't as crisp and don't have the same high quality feel. But again, I don't really notice that when I'm just using the Gamrombo controller. In my case I was just looking for a second controller so that my girlfriend and I could play co-op games together. This Gamrombo isn't meant for any competitive gaming, and no matter which one of us ends up using it, neither of us will really care, we're truly "just playing a game." And for that use it's absolutely perfect, why pay $50+ for a fancy controller that isn't necessary? This is really a perfect controller if you just need a couple extra ones around for co-op games when the friends come over.I didn't test it with Steam or Geforce Now, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work perfectly with both of them. It worked natively, with no tinkering, for Resident Evil 4 downloaded through the App Store. The only controller I've ever had difficulties with was a PS5 controller which required drivers to be downloaded for some games. If I encounter any compatibility issues in the future I'll update my review.

I got this controller to use with my PC, and it works great for that. This is a solid choice for a budget game controller. The buttons have that "new controller" feeling, and the game pad and thumb sticks are responsive. The bumper buttons and trigger buttons also all work well. All of the buttons and triggers have just the right amount of tactile feedback. I am an adult with chunky hands, and I really like the way this controller feels in the hands.Due to the fact that this is a wired controller, you don't have to worry about possible RF interference if you have a lot of wireless devices, and you especially don't have to worry about batteries, a huge plus for me. You will need a USB extension cable if you want to sit back from the console or PC you're gaming on though (not an issue for me). The cable could definitely be a little bit longer, in my opinion.Final note: I thought I missed the length of the cable in the description, on my controller, and it's not mentioned as of the day I write this review on March 23, 2025, so I hope Gamrombo puts that in the description going forward. The cable on my controller is about five feet long (approx 150ish centimeters). Other than that, this controller works great, and I'm very pleased with it!

Got this for my nephews so they could play emulated games on a Windows PC. It works just as well as the original XBox controller. Time will tell if it holds up to the real thing but for now it's pretty solid. Good option for a controller if you're on a budget and just need something cheap. It probably won't last, but even expensive controllers eventually succumb to wear and tear.

Both my wife and I are of the opinion that the Xbox 360 controller is one of the best-designed controllers ever. The Gamrombo mimics the feel of that controller to a T, inviting a familiarity when using it.Besides obviously working on a PC and on a 360, this controller can also work with the Steam Deck, where it greatly enhanced her experience with Baldur's Gate III, where she was able to keep the Steam Deck out of her grip, meaning her hands didn't get as tired during a marathon run through the Sword Coast.

Connected this controller to my counsel and was immediately issued a warning that this is not an authorized product and would not be allowed to be used past a specific date. And also has a slight but noticeable lag. Not a good controller for a shooter game

Gamrombo has released a lot of poorly-reviewed controllers but the one I got seems alright. All the buttons work and feel good and the triggers are analog without being too hard to press. I did have trouble using the Y button to do a particular move that I wasn't having trouble with on a different style of controller, but I couldn't replicate the problem when I was paying attention so I hope it's just muscle memory not working quite right with the different controller shape. This controller is terrible for a game where arrows are aimed using the left stick and released by releasing the stick. The point I was aiming at almost always changes as the spring in the stick pulls it to center. A different controller works fine. The bottom lower edge of the controller almost looks like it has a headphone jack, but it isn't. The manual says it has a voice function so I'm guessing it's a mic. It also claims to have a rumble function but I can't think of a game to test that with.Gamrombo is yet another brand with a few new products and no web site or support number. They'll eventually disappear and return with a new name rather than support the products they've sold or suffer poor reviews of long-term quality. So I don't have high hopes for this controller to last.Overall, I dock a star for the brand having no track record. I've only used the controller about 3 hours but so far, but I'll update if it fails.
