This is an all metal well made splitter that has the valves apart. It has decent size handles, they could have been a bit longer, that you can easily turn on/off the water. I like the distance between the valves making easier to operate. The fit is good and has no leaks. The opening are not full port but bigger than average allowing good volume of water to go through. Easy to install, functions perfect and appears to be very durable. A good value for your money!

We got this ATAOSGR splitter for a spigot where we added a retractable hose reel in one of our pastures. The hose reel stays hooked up all the time, leaving a spare spot to hook an additional hose to when needed. The oversized brass valves make the valves easy to use in the cold while wearing gloves. It is well made and has everything required to split an outdoor hose bib or spigot. It's nice that it does not restrict water flow with its 1/2 bore.

Having dozens of young trees and bushes scattered around my property that require regular watering in the desert southwest, even in winter, and only having a single hydrant spigot has made for a lot of labor intensive hose dragging so I ordered this Full Flow Spigot Hose Splitter as a way to essentially cut the effort in half. This spigot hose splitter is very robust as it is very solidly constructed and the on/off valve handles are large making it super easy to switch from one hose line to the other. Now I can have one hose line dedicated to the front of my property and a second hose line dedicated to the back rather than dragging an entire hose line back and forth. The flow through this spigot hose splitter is far better than your typical little y-splitter so I have great water pressure even with 350-feet of hose line running to my outermost plants.

I have a couple of Y splitter hose attachments. They work well, but occasionally I’ve had difficulty with attaching hoses with ergonomic grips. This splitter resolves that by separating the two male ends by about 5”. The valves work well and, so far, are leak free. It seems a well made product and does exactly what I need it to. It also comes with different colored handled insets which can be used to identify valves if giving directions to someone else. A nice touch. I am not a plumber, so make sure you do your own research to verify what I say. My initial impression of this hose splitter was excellent. It's made of solid, nickel-plated brass. Looks great. Then I peered into the business end at the ball valve itself. I can see flakes of brass highlighted by white plastic ball valve seals, perhaps teflon. That would be fine, except valve seals experience wear and occasionally need to be replaced. This hose splitter is a single piece and cannot be disassembled to replace the valve seals. When they start to leak, you just have to toss out this heavy duty brass hose splitter. Personally, I don't like heavy duty metal products designed to be throwaway. Something made of heavy brass should last nearly forever. Take note that the hose splitter comes with a roll of Teflon tape. Use it, particularly if your hose connections are made of aluminum or steel. If you do not use the Teflon tape, you'll experience galvanic corrosion where the two unlike metals come in contact. They will fuse over time like a weld. You'll never be able to separate them. That's no fault of this product, however, and kudos for the manufacturer for including the Teflon tape. I would worry about those flakes of brass around the valve seals, though. I'd use this for watering the garden, but not for potable water.

This hose splitter hooked up to our faucet very easily and can be rotated from side to side if necessary. It seems very strong and sturdy, and is made of the same material as the faucet. It doesn't leak, and the on/off handles work very easily so that you can use one hose or both at the same time. It will be very convenient for watering two different garden areas from one faucet, and I can even hook a timer up to one or both sides! It was also nice that plumber's tape, gaskets, and other items were included!
