Had the Garmin Fenix 6 sapphire and loved that watch. I wanted to be able to touch my screen to get yardages to hazards on the golf course and the Epix 2 Sapphire offered that feature. Love the new screen compared to the Fenix and the 16 day battery life with the watch in gesture mode. These watches all offer incredible heath and sport training data. Have worn a lot of watches Tag's, Citizen's, but for me and having the golf GPS on your wrist and all the other features outweighs the status watches. This one is a keeper for years to come. Highly recommend.

I first purchased the Fenix 7X but after a few days ended up returning it because I was not satisfied with the dim screen which I had to light up by touching a button to see it. The Fenix had some features which I liked like a flashlight, and better battery life with solar but in the end I had to go with the Epix Gen 2 because of the better screen. I like how the screen automatically lights up when you look at the watch by twisting your wrist. The setup was easy with the Garmin Connect App and the watch is fairly intuitive. The maps are great on the watch too. It has a lot of features which I am exploring. Overall I am happy with the watch and am glad I exchanged the Fenix for the Epix. What I don't understand is why Garmin just doesn't combine the Fenix with the Epix by providing the better screen with the Fenix features and offer one watch. Seems like a reasonable product strategy.

I am a suunto convert. I immediately noticed how visually appealing the screen was. I use if running and was easily able to develope a race day plan. After my 21 hour race the battery still had 3day
