This wire worked good when I custom fabricated my stainless exhaust system. If you are looking for pretty show room quality welds for your exhaust… This is not for you. You need to either choose solid wire with bottled gas or tig weld it . This is flux core and no bottled gas required. I happen to have the skills to make these welds look as good as the crappy ones that came with my purchased aftermarket X-pipe which I installed. I hit my welds with a stainless wire brush wheel when done and called it complete. It works good if you know what you are doing and know what to expect from flux core wire .

I was in a situation where I would need to spend 300 for a new drum plus new bearings, belt and tensioner.. opted to fix with my electric welder. Plus bought bearings belt and tensioner all in 60 bucks.. 3 months and stills going strong . Family of 6 so laundry gets regular use

It’s a little different… but works great! … I was sanding down my wells on the project I had but even so it was pretty clean for welding stainless without gas after cleaning off the slag. I didn't notice it spatter more then normal flux core… it was a little different then welding normal flux core but easy enough to get use-to and get decent results

The first time I tried to weld stainless steel with the regular flux core spools, the weld cracked because the metals were dissimilar. After getting this stainless steel fuxe core spool the weld held perfectly for stainless steel. The hardest part is changing out the spools so that they do not become unraveled. I recommend you have 8 inch Long duct tape ready. Carefully roll back the spool while it's still in the welder. If you let it snap back it will be a mess to get rolled back up. Roll it back carefully , hold it in position with your finger and duct tape it. That's how you go back and forth between spools.

Used to weld .040” thick 2.50” diameter stainless steel exhaust for my truck. Worked great with my HarborFreight Titanium 125 Easy Flux welder. Almost no spatter. To the person who stole my catalytic converters, you can rot in hell.

Únicamente acumula el material, no sé si me enviaron el producto correcto, mi máquina no usa gas y así pedí el alambre.

When MIG welding stainless steel, the quality of the flux core wire is as important as the quality of the welder. This is a great quality wire that produces minimal slag. I highly recommend this wire. Remember to use high quality welders helmet @ shade 13.
