I had to drill a hole in the top of the knob like OE knobs to let the trapped air out so it would go completely on. Works great on my 350 Farmall.

Just push it on. I did take a rubber mallet to pound it on for a more secure fit. Should last, as long as it doesn't vibrate loose or off.
