These are marketed as BBQ glove liners but they are honestly no different than a box of nitrile gloves (which is what I was hoping). Make sure to check the size! The large are way too big for my small hands but I wanted them for cleaning so it's not too big of a deal.

Great for plumbing. I find using hard-to-tear gloves effective against heavy-duty jobs. Now, I won't recommend trying to tackle jobs with sharp tools, but these do work with the average labour task. You might even feel the need to cook with them, but let's not carried away.

It just easier to load the smoker with your hands. But with your bare hands? You get a pair of basic white cotton gloves. You get a box of 100 XL disposable nitrile gloves (50 pairs). XL because you'll be putting them on over the cotton gloves. Now you get to place the meat in the smoker, positioned the right way. You don't have to use tongs or a fork. Take off your gloves and throw your nitrile gloves away. Removing the meat from the smoker shouldn't require gloves.Heat resistant? Somewhat. When you bounce your knuckles off the smoker's walls, you won't get burned. Don't try grabbing the grate, though.

The GEEKHOM Grilling Glove Kit is ideal for any BBQ grilling enthusiast or someone like me that enjoys fire cooking. The kit includes a box of 50 heavy-weight black nitrile gloves and a pair of extra-thick cotton gloves, offering a two-layer protection system. The high-mil nitrile gloves are great as they're disposable, waterproof, and protect your hands from getting dirty. The standout feature for me is the cotton poly blend gloves. They're low-gauge, extra thick, and have a tough bead collar, which is really effective in resisting heat. This makes handling hot food or utensils much safer. The process of using them is straightforward – first, you wear the cotton gloves for heat resistance and then put on the nitrile gloves over them for a clean, mess-resistant layer. This combination provides both heat protection and cleanliness, which is essential for BBQ cooking a must-have for anyone who loves to grill/cook and wants to ensure their hands are well-protected.

PresentationThe GEEKHOM Grilling Glove Kit - 50pcs Nitrile Gloves are supplied with the 50pcs Nitrile Gloves in a large branded box and a separate plastic sleeve containing the cotton pair. We do have a good many BBQ’s during a typical year so these will be super useful for the spring and summer – but sadly not for that just now.First ImpressionsThe gloves are a good weight, and seem robust, I also like the fact that they are a decent size – some are tiny and you struggle to get them over the palm part of the hand. These gloves also slide on and off easily – again unlike some – meaning you can re-use them a few times if they are not soiled badly.Day To Day UseHowever with the above said I have found nitrile gloves to have many uses in and outside the home and regularly use them for such things as clearing a blocked toilet or a drain whose pipework needs to be taken off and cleaned out, even picking up dog poo as a second line of defence in case the bag breaks. They have to date proven strong and do not cut or split easily – I have not had the opportunity to test them on anything hot as yet but they are good quality and have done all I have asked of them to-date.Summing UpSlightly more expensive than the last box I had – but much more durable and of a decent size for most hands.

I do a lot of BBQs so need to prepare a lot of food in advance. For years I just used my hands, but recently have been using food safe gloves so don't need to touch the raw meat etc. The disposable gloves are of an excellent quality, but I would say the XL size is probably a bit on the small side compared to other gloves I've bought. I would say a small large, or large medium would be closer to the actual Western size. The cotton gloves are ok, not the best but a nice addition. However, at £19.99 for the set, I think they are a bit overpriced.

These are perfect for cold weather bike / car maintenance or washing. They're advertised as being heat resistant and suitable for grilling etc - they *could* be used for that, but I just use utensils to hold hot food, but they're perfect for the cold. 25 pairs of nitrile gloves and the cotton liners for £19.99 is quite expensive - so knocking a star off, but otherwise very happy with them.5 stars - I love it4 stars - I like it3 stars - It's ok2 stars - I don't like it1 star - I hate it
