Mine didn’t come with the pads so I just bought a warming pad for the bottom of it. It holds in the warmth. The asphalt roof is waterproof my outside cats love it. It’s high enough off the ground. I can place the food and not worry about the random dogs that get out of their fences And eat all the cat food. The build quality is good. It’s very sturdy. The only complaint I have about it is the wall divider the hole is too small and the back escape hole is very small as well.

This item was clearly previously returned to the seller, but the seller just turned around and re-sold this item to me, despite the fact that it was missing parts and contained broken parts. Once I started assembling in it, I could tell that it had been previously assembled and disassembled. Now I have this 50 pound cat shelter that I have to disassemble and put back in the box and return. I am not a happy camper. Sellers should be penalized in some way for doing this sort of thing.The cat shelter itself seems fairly well-made for these days, however, there were some areas that were not pre-drilled and other areas where pegs didn’t line up. The instructions are fairly easy to follow although there are a couple of places you have to stare at for a minute to understand what they’re talking about. One person can put it together, although it would’ve been a lot easier with two.

We bought this a few weeks ago and put it together right away. It is easy to put together and very cute. It does a pretty good job of keeping rain out. However, after only a couple weeks, the white layer of wood around the front 2nd floor window is already peeling off. I don't know what else to do except wait for it to finish peeling off then try to get crafty with fixing the appearance. If it is already coming apart cosmetically, then I am concerned about how long it will last functionally. A lot of money to pay for something that will most likely not survive the year. When this falls apart, we will going with another brand by another seller. It would have been 5 stars if it held up.

Cute and sturdy but teeny tiny. I seriously thought it would be twice the size. Regardless to its itty bittiness, I love it. One more surprise, it’s darker than what I imagined. The gray body is a deep, rich, dark gray, so I plan to paint it with a lighter color/exterior paint as this will be solely placed outdoors. I’d recommend this adorable, little cat house!

This wooden two-story feral cat shelter is of high quality, durable, and reasonably designed, providing plenty of space and protection. Cats love it and will never be afraid of the cold in winter. It is also highly waterproof and windproof, suitable for outdoor use, and is highly recommended for cat owners!

I was super excited when I saw this cat house online because it would’ve been the perfect size. It was not easy to put together though! And the escape door had One of the Pegs broken off I’ve put a screw in, but the door keeps falling off not sure what I’m gonna do. It’s a lot smaller than you realize. But I think it’s gonna be OK after I add some insulation. also one of the pictures is showing the side of the house, and if you notice on the right hand side, there’s a big gap. I’m gonna have to cover that just to keep the cats warm in the winter.
