Supply cord is WAY undersized for this product! Using the grill for 30 minutes and the cord is too hot.

Cooked a wonderful meal tonight. It arrived a week early and I'm so happy. It takes about 25 minutes to get to 400 degrees and it stays warm. I seasoned it before using. Sliced steak in butter slid around nicely on the seasoned grill. It's heavy so I won't be packing it around, but I love it on day 1!

My brother tried and was able to get 10 lbs on at once with his preferred thick patties.I wanted an electric griddle that didn’t come with a nonstick coating. This hit the mark.I seasoned 6-7 times with tallow. Would recommend cooking outdoors as it does smoke up a ton.The picture with patties is from around day one after seasoning. The picture without patties is from 7 months in.I strongly recommend filing the drip tray’s edges down just a little. I managed to cut myself when my finger ran across it before doing that, haven’t cut myself since filing.Make sure your circuit is at least 20 A. My current apartment has 15A outdoor circuits that keep breaking even on low temps. I have to cook inside using my 20A kitchen circuit until I get either an appropriate gauge extension cord or move.Recommend using some sort of splash shield, tent, or covers for surfaces as oil does splatter around.

It is truly absurd to demand I transport a 50lb damaged unit to effect return. Item should be picked up from delivery address!

I use this primarily for cooking breakfast and hotdogs/hamburgers. It is very heavy and sturdy so if you intend to use it on your kitchen counter you might want to measure carefully. I bought a cart to keep it on and it is now an integral part of my cooking arsenal of BBQ Grill, Smoker and now griddle.

Well the first thing I liked was the care put in to packing it to prevent damage. Sturdy cardboard box surrounded by styrofoam. Cleaned it and used it for breakfast. It heats up in a reasonable amount of time and most important when you put food on it the grill retains the heat. It's even heating and has plenty of surface area.

We loved now, but first we had our doubts because everything stick to it. But now at fourth use it got that black surface and is like having a real size griddle. We live in a small apartment, so that mean we have to put it away after use it and is kinda heavy for a woman. I’m a guy So I do it for my wife it’s no problem for me but if you have a big kitchen, I definitely recommended having it and just cover it. I gave them four stars just because if you see two pictures I’m pointing to the grease catcher is too sharp and the falling piece of metal I don’t know what’s for. It would be nice a better finishing on the part. But overall like I said before we love it, and you feel Iike reliable buddy it won’t let you alone in the middle of a cooking party. It’s important to mention we are Latin (Salvadoran), and we cook real dough, I think it’s a real challenge lol. It feels super strong item. my wife feels happy and I love her happiness.

So first and foremost, if you’ve never owned a real griddle ( flat top ) and not the cheap non stick ones, you’ll need to season it first in order to create a nonstick surface. YouTube how. Secondly, every flat top/griddle has cold zones so figure out where they are on the flat top/griddle. A true flat top griddle takes longer to heat up but retains the heat a lot longer than a nonstick type griddle. Keep that in mind when you’re planning to cook with it. Allow more time to let it heat up. Lastly, this is a decent flat top/ griddle. It plugged into my 110 volt outlet (20 amp on mine but 15 amp shouldn’t be a problem ) YouTube how to make different things on a flat top/griddle and give yourself time to perfect it. The dial temperature indicator isn’t as accurate as it could be but again find your cold zones and you’ll be fine. The picture attached is what a seasoned flat top/griddle should look like. I’m happy with my purchase.
