Works well long as you keep it lubricated and are prepared to take it apart now and then to clean the small jaws inside.

I would prefer it in a case along with some space for the bits and pieces but … it’s okay

This is not heavy duty, nor did I expect it to be. It’s an inexpensive plastic rivet gun and it works just fine. Came with a nice assortment of plastic rivets and a tool to remove the old one(s). Worth the money

After reading other reviews I was really sweating to do eight (8) rivets on my wrangler JL fenders with this. But it worked pretty damn good. A couple times it slipped the first try but the rivets went through fine on the second try.Easy instructions, great value and I'm not overly handy.

Really needed this to install the fasteners holding the fender liner on my BMW x3. Thankfully Amazon suggested it when I ordered the fasteners or I wouldn’t have thought about it as I hadn’t used these particular kind before.

Rivets sometimes don't break at base which mean another step to cut them off.

I bought this for my father and he said everything works perfect no problems. Does it’s job.

When I 1st tried this the included rivets kept breaking without fastening. I thought the problem was with the included rivets. I tried some other rivets, and had the same results. The tool appears to bind and then release When a lot of force is applied, breaking the rivets. I am returning it.

I’m very disappointed in this tool even though I researched and one set of reviews rated it the best out of 10 other similar tools. The tool seems to work properly but the plastic rivets are cheaply made. I tried using it to rivet inner window sweeps on my classic car door panel but finally gave up and ordered special hardware screws to do the job. The rivets may work for very light duty work but nothing that requires strength in my opinion.

A good quality kit with an assortment of plastic rivets. Used this when installing new fenders on my Jeep. The tool itself feels a little cheap, but worked like a charm.

The rivets are OK. The pry tool is cheap and basic; not a lot to go wrong there. The riveter is terrible, and makes the kit not worth the money.Mine wouldn't grip for anything. I took it apart to see if I could figure it out.For one, the screw you need to remove to service it is staked so getting it off is a pain. Once you do, you'll have to replace it. But at least after that it's serviceable. You'll need to be able to take it apart -- you'll see why in a minute. The insides were coated in a fine film of rust. I suspected it was binding/sticking so I cleaned it all out with a plastic brush on a rotary tool, lightly oiled it and reassembled. Now it works! Grips and installs rivets. Done, right? Not yet...If the mandrel breaks off after install and is now stuck inside the tool! With a normal pop rivet gun it slides out the back. In this one it's trapped. You have to unscrew the top to get it out, IF there's enough of the mandrel sticking out to grab onto and unscrew it. If it's flush with the puller, good luck. For the very occasional repair for the DIYer, it might be worth the extra hassle. For anyone else (mechanics, detailers, restorers) pass this by and get a good tool.
