bought this timer to try and keep my garden beds alive while leaving for a week on vacation. tested everything out the week before leaving and never had any issues with leaking or timer not turning off/on, etc. worked for what i needed!

Habe alle meine Topfpflanzen während meines Urlaubs damit bewässert. Da man auch ganz kurze Zeiten einstellen kann, war das für die Topfpflanzen genau dosierbar.

Ordered this because I was planting grass seed and didn’t want to keep shutting the sprinkler off and on. This has turned out to be an awesome addition. I’m able to water the grass 3 times a day for a preset period without having to touch the hose. I love the addition of a second zone that can be programmed separately which works perfect for the garden. Highly recommend if you’re in need of a timer. Very well built.

I expected this device to be fussy to program - I was pleasantly amused by how easy it was.First of all, it feels very solid and it has a huge display. That is to say, the numbers and text on the display are very clear and easy to read. You program the device by rotating the big dial and pressing one of four rubber buttons. Using the dial you cycle through different prompts which are, again, easy to read and printed directly on the dial.The dial itself and the rubber buttons are rather chonky and there is a certain satisfaction rotating from prompt to prompt. In fact, the device reminds me of a Fisher Price toy- made to survive rough treatment, suitable for clumsy hands, and printed with big words and numbers.Oh yes, and it does operate according to the schedules I set, without leaking water even though I didn't use the included plumber's tape.The big LCD display provides constant feedback. It shows the current time plus the time of the next expected watering. When the watering starts, the display changes to show a countdown that runs down to zero when the watering is finished, along with a little waterdrop icon to show that water is flowing.This thing is extremely well designed. Even the AA battery case is simplified- instead of unlocking some kind of latch you simply pull the cover off to open it and push it back on to close it.

The GMR 2-zone sprinkler timer is incredibly user-friendly and reliable.I was afraid it was going to be difficult to install but it turns out my concerns were unfounded. Well mostly because my husband helped out and we had it done in 15 minutes. The brass material feels really solid and there were no leaks after we set it up, which was a huge relief. Fingers crossed it stays that way!The interface is intuitive, with simple dials to set the start time, duration, and frequency of watering for each zone. This makes it easy to customize the watering schedules for my garden based on their specific needs. I love that I can give my shady areas less water and my sunny spots more without any hassle.One feature that really stands out to me is the rain delay function. We've had a few unexpected showers lately, and it's been great to be able to pause the watering schedule without having to reprogram everything. It saves me water and money, and it's better for the environment.

A 4 so far inasmuch as selecting manual so I can use the hose separately when needed...is a pain! Push this for #seconds, then within #seconds this, then this, then ok. Have to do it at least twice every time.

I’ve been using this for the last several months to water plants outside the house. Simple to set up, no leaks. Works very well.To help keep the weather off of this, I made a little water shield out of A plastic box that tomatoes came in. I’m not sure if this is needed, but I figure it can’t hurt.
