I am super impressed with this light, to the point where I bought two more! It's great for studio use and great quality for a decent price. It's also great if you're just now learning about lighting and don't have a huge budget.

The light is very bright, and the outside of the light seems to be plastic and the cover is metal. I do like the accessory’s with different color filters where you can apply on creating creativity portraits. this is like it also comes with an app with Bluetooth but I prefer to use it with manually and the menu is very easy to navigate where you can’t adjust the white balance and color of the light from relatively soft natural light to cold white light. Although it is 60 W but if you put 100% power, the light is good enough in a relatively low light situation.although it is 60 W but if you put 100% power, the light is good enough in a relatively low light situation. I will be using it for a Portrait session soon and will come back for an update.

I’ve been using two Godox SL-60’s in my studio and on location for the last two years, for both video and photography. They’re powerful, relatively light and just do a very nice job for lighting. I’ve really enjoyed using them. When the new version came out I had to give it a try as having the ability to change the color balance is really useful to me. The new SL-60ii Bi light is nice improvement over the previous model. It’s smaller, nicer looking, and has the ability to adjust color both on the unit, as well as remotely. I was hoping that then new model would have a quieter fan, but it sounds the same as the previous version. It’s not really that loud and hasn’t been an issue for me, but for situations where you need a totally quiet set, it might pose a problem. I’m usually using lavs or shotgun mics so I don’t pick them up much. All in all, I’m happy with the build quality as well as quality of the light output. So I’d say that they’re pretty hard to beat for the price!In the photos I posted you can see some pictures of the light in comparison to the older version.Cheers!
