I like the subtle white edge between the picture and the black frame. I didnt need any glue or tape. Just the pressure of the enclosure (frame) was enough. I Didnt post a picture for privacy reasons. But, believe me, it looks amazing.

Please note: this review pertains to the 12x12 mat.This brand has been a staple for our matting needs, and has always impressed us with the quality. These mats are ideal for mattting a collage. Made of thick cardboard, each mat measures 12x12 and has four 4x6” openings - two in landscape and two portrait format. The openings are beveled, giving the finished product a sophisticated look. I would order these again.
