I took my chances. Not disappointed at all. I was going to throw away some 30-year-old towers because the speakers were blown, but I took a chance and purchased four of these two for each speaker and I am really impressed with the sound much better than the originals so glad I didn’t throw away the towers that I installed them into. Excellent value for the money.

I feel like I STOLE something! These were sold as a warehouse damaged box! There Was nothing wrong with the speakers; and the Bass Thump from these 10inch Babies is EXtraordinary! Excellent Brand, Excellent Quality; and, I will replace other speaker cabinets with these!!! Sshhh ... D..on't tell Kenwood about this... They may get mad! - good job Goldwood! Good Job !!!

It was a long ship time, about 3 weeks but I think was worth it. I replaced 200 watt subwoofers with these 250 watt subwoofers. The speakers never sounded this good. I would say twice as good since I installed these subwoofers

These woofers have a wide frequency response range of 29Hz - 6,000Hz which covers sub-bass, bass, mid-range and presence audio ranges. The title of this item includes the word 'subwoofer' which may be misleading. This woofer can be used as a subwoofer with the proper frequency cutoffs, but it can also be used as a replacement woofer in many home and pro speaker cabinets. I used these woofers in a set of Ohm D2 speaker cabinets. Their crossover circuitry sends low frequencies up to 1,700Hz to the woofer, and everything above that to the tweeter. My D2s had very tired Sony replacements when I got them and these Goldwood woofers brought them back to life! They work very well with the vented cabinets, and provide clean mids and bass. I highly recommend these as a high quality replacement woofer for revitalizing vintage Hi-Fi speakers.

I looked long and hard for some really good 10 inch replacement subs. I was a little hesitant on purchasing, but I'm glad I did. These subs sound really good and has lots of deep bass.I highly recommended these speakers to anyone on a tight budget.

Used in a 3 way speaker system, replacing old 1970's medium capacity drivers was an ease with these woofers, they are of higher quality and sound representation as with the use of modern technology with updated materials than in the past

Came on time. Had to make a small adjustment, cuz the hole was bigger than the speakers. Pretty good sound and I think they will sound better with more use down the road. Seems to be good speakers for the price.

I never heard of Goldwood, but I took a chance on this manufacturer because of decent reviews and a good price, and I'm not disappointed. I replaced old worn out sub speakers of my LR boxes in my surround system over fifteen years old, and it now sounds better than the original. The sub range of this new speaker is even and clear, and has that necessary punch. Speaker system markups are ridiculous based on brand recognition, so it is nice to get a reasonably priced American manufactured speaker brand I never heard of that sounds as good as anything else with a big name behind it.
