This pad was a lot thinner than I expected. I use it on top of the kennel outside over a piece of plywood. It’s easy yo clean

Initially bought 2 to try out. I have a lot of young dogs in training teaching them the basics of crate training etc. I needed a crate mat that was easy to clean if there was and accident and also not favorable to chew on. Yes they did try chewing on them but must not be very enjoyable as they have not continued to chew on. They are cost effective. Ordered four more.

This crate liner came in excellent time and was just as described. The only rating less than 5 stars is for "chew proof" because there's nothing about this liner, in my opinion, that makes it chew-proof, but it also doesn't claim to be in the item description. It's pretty thin, but again as described. I was interested in something that would fit in the crate but be easily removed and thrown in the washer periodically to clean. It's exactly what I needed.Would definite recommend and/or buy again.

My dog chews at the seams until her mats and blankets are ruined. This mat has a seam all around the ends. My mistake, I thought there was not a seam when I looked at the photo. My dog chewed this seam and ruined her new crate pad

Brought this for my dog which is a Belgian Malinois and after two days it was destroyed. I like the material but it had no chance with my dog. Maybe I need something more thicker for her not to chew up

Have used for a few airplane cargo trips for my 1.5 year old spanielʻs hardbody crate. Here are my observations:- Surface texture is soft polyester fabric mesh on one side and a more gritty rougher rubber/fabric on the bottom. Doesnt stay still in plastic crate so use a pee pad underneath to secure it.- Cushion is different from others Iʻve used; feels like a grid of stiff loofahs in that it resists compression slightly, collapses (but not fully), and pops back up. Has good spring action and supports body.- Very breathable; you can shine light through it easily and see the amount of internal air pockets from the cushion. Good cooling ability comes from the increased airflow and not the fabric itself.- Cleans easily in the washing machine or hand washing. Dries quickly because of increased air flow.Overall, a different but useful crate or napping pad. Increased airflow keeps you cool by allowing release of heat versus gels which lose coolness after a certain point and donʻt breath well. Recommend for hotter dogs that prefer firmer pads; five stars *****
