First Note Nose Flute

Nose flutes are such a fun little instrument. They're easy to learn and always good for a laugh. It's also nice because they're small and easy to transport. Overall I love mine! My two complaints are that (a) they send you a random color and (b) they're surprisingly expensive to buy online (if you can find them in person they're cheaper, they're just hard to find in person). Overall I'm happy with my nose flute and would definitely recommend buying one!

Need a white elephant gift for the AGES?! Its a hit! The instrument is real, it takes a little to master, but the sound you should get is basically a whistle. The guest who won this prize used to be a french horn player and by the end of the party was able to delight(ish) our ears with silent night and The William Tell Overature!

The classic "Nose Flute" is a long-time favorite of mine. I learned about it listening to the late, great Jean Shepherd play it on his radio show during the 1950's. I appreciate that the nose flute is still being made and is still instantly available from an Amazon seller.Bravissimo!

Best nose flute ive ever had. I enjoy playing hands free by using a elastic to strap it to my head. Would be nice if a elastic was included in the package.

Okay... so the Grandkids didn't believe there was any such thing as a nose whistle. We watched a video on youtube showing how to play a "nose flute". After that they had to have them. They arrived quickly & began playing them immediately. For one of their first "instruments" it was a fun one. They are still amazing family & friends with there ability to play a nose whistle! Laughter abounds at our house!

Ordered 2 for stocking stuffers. We couldn't help but try them first. I can play 7 instruments, woodwind, and stringed. This nose whistle does not work! I had several others try it, same result. If I buy again, it will be a higher quality instrument, not an inexpensive novelty item. These went straight into the trash after 30 mins of multiple adults blowing their noses through them in an attempt to make them whistle.

Oui, fonctionne bien. Mais il ne faut pas s'énerver et il faut respirer par le nez... :-)

What a wonderful instrument. Think of it... all those times you sit around with nothing to do—your nose bored to death. Well, the nose flute is the answer for your bored nose! Just put the small end up and snug against your nostrils (those holes in your nose) and exhale GENTLY (through your nose) to get a nice smooth tone. Exhaling forcefully clogs up the flute, and this over-mucus-ing makes notes go flat; tunes just don't sound as profoundly wonderful as they should. Amazing Grace sounds horrible played through a partially clogged nose flute. This instrument is very easy to learn and use, thanks to the loads of Youtube videos that show how to get the most out of (from) your nose flute. However, the nose flute is difficult to play when you've got a bad cold, for obvious reasons. Some news stories (likely fake) say that some professional nose flute players leave their flute less than clean to give their music a deep, rich quality not attainable with a freshly washed flute. If you're interested in this item, now is the time to get one and hone your skills, as groups of nose-fluters are forming fast all over the country. In fact, it is rumored that soon, the cities of Boise, ID and Salt Lake City, UT will have Nose Flute Orchestras. The mind reels over the possibility of live performances, CDs and MP3 downloads.Am I kidding? Sure. This is a great gag gift and highly recommended for a good laugh. At least one.

Well spent money! Get creative with this magnificent nose flute and play the song of your people.P.S: People might get slightly agitated when used to practise Mozart Syphony #40 and #25.

Works well, expensive though for being just a flimsy piece of plastic...

Amazing little instrument! I played it at a jazz gig - now I'm known as a nose flautist by readers of Jazzwise magazine. Fame could be yours too for a couple of quid. Check out the you-tube clips of this thing in action.
