Habe mir dies als zweites Paar geholt, um es ins Auto zu legen im Winter. Funktioniert zuverlässig bei Eis und Schnee, bin damit noch nie gerutscht.Sind auch leicht an den Schuhen zu befestigen.Man muss nur hin und wieder kleine Schneekugeln entfernen, die sich halt in den Spikes sammeln beim Laufen.Die Lieferung erfolgte schnell und ordentlich.

I kind of knew from the photos of the metal grips that they would work well on ice. They do. I'm in the Colorado Rockies; lots of snow and ice. People kill themselves all the time by falling on ice. And no grips are 100% foolproof, so take my advice--don't ever get too confident on ice--ever. The rubber is a little flimsier than it should be; one of the grips came off the heel part of one of my pairs. But overall, for the price, they're pretty good, I think. Ordered only one pair originally, but now own three.

These are quite sturdy, but it remains to be seen if they'll last for multiple seasons. I have no reason to doubt if they will, however I can't peer into the future either.

A little tricky to put on if you're standing. I suggest sitting down to do so, but you can still put them on yourself while standing if you can support yourself against a wall for example. Worked great for walking around Iceland in December. Quality product.

I just used these for the first time today to walk to my mailbox over my snowy driveway. I felt very safe and secure in the snow. However, the circular cleat design allows snow to accumulate inside the spikes and when I walked in the garage I was walking on cleates of ice. I can not use these because of that problem. I would return but my return window is closed. If you purchase this item, take them off before you walk on a non snow surface.I am totally impressed with this company as I was offered a full refund on this product. Thank you for great customer service!

Let me first say that they are mostly effective, they kept me from sliding on ice and snow while walking at work, which was my main goal. However, the back half of the ice grips do not stay where they should. After wearing for a while, they move forward into the middle of my boot which makes the back ones ineffective eventually. Also, the front grips are too closely grouped together making them awkward to walk on. If they were spread wider apart they would be more comfortable to walk on. If you are using them for short walks they would be ok, but not great for a 10 hours work shift where you are walking almost constantly.

I got these for my husband, and so far these have been great. They have a little flex which helps fit over different sized boots/shoes. We’ve been having a lot of icy rain and these help my husband to grip the ground for safety. We’ve used them twice and so far they have held up.

I did not think it would be this aggressive for traction, but it is. The metal studs are prominent and clearly made to cut through ice and snow when walking. The rubber is very tough and fits easily over my large boots. The design does not hamper putting my boots on or off. I would say that I could use these on shoes and even active shoes if I did want to try it out.My boots have treads but for some reason, it would be very slippery as if the treads were not even there but this add-on is going to make it very different this year. Warning... do not "accidentally" walk on any surface like hardwood floors. It will damage it! I accidentally stepped off the rug and it did mark my floor.
