This cage is cute, but that's about it. It was missing some parts when it arrived and at the point I realized, I had assembled so much of it that I didn't want to take it apart to return it. My husband used some parts/tools we had at home to finish it enough for use. The wood is not treated, which is good - but that means any defecation will soak right into it. Other than the aesthetic, it's not great... definitely not worth $120. We will have to replace it with something better eventually... wouldn't recommend.

Nice looking cage especially compared to the same priced ones at the pet store. My only complaint is that not all the holes were pre-drilled. Otherwise I'm sure our guinea pigs will be very happy in their new home.

Not suitable for Guinea pigs. The ladder isn’t comfortable for them to go up, it’s not enough space. The wood wasn’t treated so if they pee on it, it’s stained and won’t clean off. Way too expensive for the low quality

Couldn't get passed the second step to build this as the holes were drilled in the wrong spot. One of the holes for the wooden dowels was drilled where a screw needed to be, making it impossible to assemble. Very cheap, flimsy wood, not worth over $100.

Beautifully crafted, easy to put together, and my guinea pigs love it. More attractive and cost effective than any of the cages sold in stores.

I assumed this would be cheaply made based on the price but it was worse than I thought.I could get over the quality if there weren’t several design issues.1- the door on the side of the cage should be on the other side so you can get the animal out of the bottom of the 2 story section. Otherwise you have to take out the ramp, remove the top lid to get access.2- the ramp starts right against the side of the cage and there is no way to get onto it besides climbing up the edge. It is also very slippery.3 - the screws are not counter sunk on both parts of the assembly and the large screws crack and split the wood. I had a drill to remedy this easily but someone without the know how or tools would be out of luck.

Materials are extremely cheap. More than one panel was actually warped. The wire sections are the thinnest possible cause of chicken wire and many sections were crumpled and bent. The removable bottom panel slid into place just fine but the overall frame didn’t even allow it to sit level and the gap was large enough to fit a finger in on one side. The side door was warped to the point that it didn’t even close flush. It’s also worth noting that the clear panels are not acrylic- they’re glass. Worth pointing out if you’re planning on housing pets along small children. The lid to the cage was also warped and the “hardware” to close it was so thin it could be bent by pinching it. The mechanism for holding the lid open is little more than 2 sticks screwed into the inside to prop it open with. Don’t waste your money. I’d send it back if i hadn’t already gone through the trouble of assembling it.
