I first came across these saws in Japan. Love them. Being a pull cut stroke they don't catch and bend like Western saws. Do cuts, after some practice, are very accurate. This blade is very hard and very sharp. It's keeping its edge well and it's been used predominantly on thick oak and Sapele.Loo e it,vrecommended

I've been a high-end Finish / Trim Carpenter for over 40 years. I've been using this same brand replaceable blade Japanese hand saw for over 25 of those years. Keep the handle , and just replace the blade , to save little money . Highly recommended for the professional. For on the job use....and you can leave the higher priced handmade saws you may have , at home in the shop .

Excellent balance, a joy to use, and sharp even after sawing a house full of white oak. So sharp that when it fell on my wrist bone, it cut a beautifully clean line across the skin. It is absolutely one of my favorite tools still.

I had really banged up my original saw blade with some stupid use, and was glad to know replacements were available. I even save a few bucks buying “used,” an only slightly scuffed open packaged blade. These are pretty good blades, really nice cut (just don’t try using it on brass—trust me).

Açık ara kullandığım testereler arasındaki en iyi testere. Eğer ince işlerde kullanmak için alamayı düşünen olursa ryoba türü testereler genel kullanım için olduğundan kesim esnasında pala hareketi daha fazla olacaktır. Ölçü yaptığınız işlerde önemliyse sırt destekli diğer modelleri düşünebilirsiniz. Ayrıca malefesef ürün için gümrük vergisi çıkıyor

This brand (Gyokucho) is the singular value in Japanese razorsaws. This combination of teeth is the best in this style of saw for a mix of hardwood and softwood. it's very sharp. it's perfectly made. It's a pull saw so it cuts straight and easily, unlike the nasty mitre saw you inherited from your aunt. The blade is thinner and the teeth last longer than a shark saw. If you are in construction you will appreciate this saw slightly more overall and regret slightly more (as well) when you saw a nail. But not as much as most of this species of tool.if you have not owned a Japanese razorsaw, you are missing one of the basic joys of human existence.Since this brand is hardened at the factory you will prefer to buy a new blade rather than learn the ancient yet tedious art of saw sharpening . That's what this product is - a replacement blade. Get the one with a handle for slightly more if you're just starting out. The blade will last you two years if you are a determined weekend warrior and much less than that if you use it on the job.

After years of use and unintentionally cutting into a few nails/screws I decided it was time to replace the blade on my Ryoba handsaw. I found this to be the best price and with Prime 2-day shipping I immediately ordered. Top quality replacement blade at a price lower than other sellers. Very happy with my purchase!

Stays sharp for months if you use it periodically. If you use it daily it might dull a little quicker. I’d say I use it about 1-2 times per week and will last me a year. I’ve replaced one after about 15-18 months of use. For the money they’re amazing! They make light work of even the hardest woods.
