Bought this saw to cut my 32/40mm waste pipes as I had been using a hacksaw but it would just wander and never cut straight. This does the trick perfectly and makes a nice straight cut. The function to alter the angle of the blade is handy as well. Some of the negative reviews appear to be in relation to it going blunt when cutting wood, but it is a plastic saw so personally I don't foresee any issues there.

I am very disappointed. After three cuts in soft wood, the teeth are completely dull and the saw keeps getting stuck in the material. The steel used to make the saw is of very low quality, it has no hardness. Saw teeth appear black and burnt probably due to improper treatment.

I purchased to use on 4" schedule 40 PVC. Using this saw, it is easier to control squareness of cut compared to using a hacksaw or reciprocating saw but it doesn't cut as fast as I expected and it could be longer for use on larger diameter stock. I'm sure it would be great for use with 2" and smaller PVC.

After five years of heavy use I finally wore down the sharpness of this saw to the point I decided to get a new one here on Amazon. I originally bought this saw to cut larger diameter PVC and ABS pipe too large for my jaw cutter and it worked very well for that purpose . However I found myself using it as a pruning saw and for cutting fence boards and wall board and other light weight cutting jobs around the home. The small size padded ergonomic handle and adjustable blade angle makes this saw a joy to use. This is the best small hand saw I have ever owned.

I used this when I was redoing the plumbing on a remodel I'm currently working on. It's very sharp and cut pvc pipe very fast, and having an adjustable handle makes getting into tight spots much easier.

I LOVE this thing, I just managed to dismantle a leather couch- built like a tank (don't ask). The blade can be adjusted to any angle- even put on upside down to let you get into any small spave (at one point I was sawing backwards!)It made light work of something I had been dreading for months.The grip is comfortable, the quick release dial is a godsend too, and with replaceable blades this thing is now my favourite item in my tool box.At one point, quite by accident, I was sawing through plastic, soft wood, hard wood AND aluminium at the same time!AWESOME THING.
